"How often do failures in research often occur?" Kalden spoke when they were having dinner. 

Robion has left the luxurious castle owned by mayor Ferro. He has another equally important task. These security forces are quite busy according to his information, because they are a wealthy territory. They don't want to desecrate it. But Kalden had an earache when he heard it. On those streets he knew there had been frequent thefts. It was far from the safe. 

"Failures in research by researchers or alchemists are commonplace, Count." 

Ferro smiled calmly. He had done well, answered Kalden's questions promptly and showed his respectful attitude, even though he knew rumors that Kalden was an illegitimate child. It's better for him to shut his mouth. Other rumors say that the person who talked about it is getting into trouble. They find it difficult to talk, or at least can't talk forever.
