This is where it all began.

A junkyard.

Oh no, this isn't your clean, mechas-only junkyard that was the 'starting point' of many mecha geniuses out there.

I have seen and heard my share of rags-to-riches stories, and many of them claimed that they had started from 'junkyards' and slowly grew to be where they were right now. 

From Zero to Hero, they declared. 
You can do it too, they said. 
As long as you work hard, everything is possible, they claimed.

I call bullshit.

The Undying Mecha Emperor

I mean, demons were supposed to be ugly and all, I know. But these were just mechas. They were supposed to be merely large, clunky and maybe just slightly ugly. 


But the craftsmanship level involved in the Demonqueen Hila Mecha was so damn high that alas, the demoness' grotesque and disgusting aura was completely captured and brought to unholy life. 


They even managed to produce some sort of weird strange disgusting sound that sounded so naturally demonic that for the weak of mind, their courage would definitely be rattled by it. 


I wasn't affected by it of course. Not much anyway. 


"What's with these Demon Mechas? They are so damn ugly and they even sound disgusting to boot! Why are they so well loved by the masses?" I said loudly to Gempi Terra.
