Leawood

As I lay in my bed thinking about the past 3 months. Everything that has gone down. Being exiled from the pack, my 'dad' dying, my breakup with Lani. Although some of those things affect me more than others, I'm still living my best life. I finally finished moving into my condo in Pueblo, Colorado. Now it's a whole different direction from cali, i'm finding it quite likeable. -BEEP- -BEep-

I turn off my alarm and get up. I rub my face thinking about last night. I turn around looking at the girl laying on my bed. I went to wake her up, but before I could, my phone went off. My eyebrow raises as I take it off the charger. I look at the notification. My jaw clenches as I read an article about a bombing that went off in Leawood Kansas . Welp i guess i found what I have to do today. I wake up, I think cindy? I call her an uber and offer her breakfast.

I go and pack a weekend bag while we're waiting on her uber.

After she leaves I shower and get dressed in black ripped jeans, burberry air force ones, a burberry flannel with a white hoodie under it. I put on deodorant and some cologne. I run my hands through my wet hair as I walk into the kitchen, grabbing my keys and an apple before I leave the house.

I take a fresh breath of air as I put my headphones in. I put my hands in my pocket as I walk to the car garage. I hit the unlock on my car, I walk around to my door as I kiss the hood of my baby.

I open the back of my car and throw my bag in. I close the door, and as I start the car I throw my head back hearing my baby start. I turned on the gps to leawood, and hooked my phone up to the aux and put on I felt good by pitbull, as the song started I pulled out of the parking garage.

-2 hours later-

I pull into a gas station to get some snacks. I go to the back of the store and get 2 redbulls, 2 green apple gatorades, some beef jerky, some chips, and gum. I go to check out my snacks. I yawn at the corner as the clerk rings up my stuff. I pay and leave.

-8 hours later-

- Unknown POV-

As I get home from a hard day at work. It's 12:30 am. I get out of the car, grab my things and lock it. I dig through my purse as I walk on your porch. I grab my keys out of my purse and I go to unlock the door. I grab the knob, turn it when the door opens.

I look inside the dark house confused. " Weird" I say. I walk in slowly and close the door. I walk into the kitchen to turn the lights on. You see your ex standing at the corner waiting for you.

" WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU STILES?!? MY SOUL LEFT MY FUCKING BODY" I yell at my ex who just laughts at me

" Hey mama, how you been," Stiles says, standing in front of you and wraps his hands around your waist. You freeze for a moment. I sigh " I'm tired" To be honest I missed him, I probably shouldn't but I do. So I do what any reasonable person would do. I lay my hand on his chest and close my eyes.

" Let's get you to bed then" He says, picking you up. He turns off the lights and takes you to your room. One day you will kill this man, sadly not today. As he gets to your room he lays you on the bed and takes off his hoodie and flannel. Curse the darkness as you can't see his abs that you missed so much! He takes off his shoes and socks and does the same to you, as you take your hair down and take off your jewelry. He flings the covers open and crawls underneath dragging you with him as well. I snuggle into him as he plays with your hair. I start to drift. " Why are you here?" you say half asleep. You can feel him tense up at the sudden question. " I heard about the bombing in leawood, I uh- I wanted to see if you were okay. " He says untensing. You smile t the thought of him still caring. You move a little bit and fall asleep.

Stiles POV-

I smile as she falls asleep. Maybe just maybe we could get back together. As I think about it I almost shed a tear, I chuckle to myself, maybe everything doesn't have to suck. I hold Kelani tighter in my arms, cherishing the peace, as I know in the morning is probably going to suck ass. I take off my glasses and place them on her nightstand. I yawn and snuggle in.

The Next Morning-

I close my eyes tighter as I feel the sun coming up, I feel something trying to move, and I tighten my grip. I hear a whimper. My face turns into a look of confusion as I remember last night's event. I slowly open my eyes to find Kelani struggling to get out of my grip. " Please, I have to pee" she begs, I let her go and watch as she speed walks to the bathroom. I sit up against the headboard and scratch my head waiting for her to get back. I look around noticing the change in decoration and furniture. I mental applaud Lani for her interior skills. As I reach for my phone Lani walks out of the bathroom. I'm left speechless. She put her hair in a messy bun. I mental scowl at my weakness. I unconsciously lip my lips as my eyes dart to her lips and back up at her eyes. Oh her eyes, her green beautiful eyes. I swear as we make eye contact we stare at each other for what seems like forever. Her eyes darted to my lips, causing me to give off a mischievous smirk. She rolls her eyes " Why are you still here Stiles" she says annoyed.

My smirk drops. " I'll uh- I'm a go," I say nervously. I grab my glasses and as I'm getting off the bed she puts her hand on my chest. " We both know we need to talk about this," She says before taking a deep breath. " So how about we discuss this over dinner, your treat?" She says, lip switching upwards. I chuckle, " Alright, I see how it is then," I say as she looks up at me and notices her hand on my chest. She clears her throat and quickly returns her hand to her side. " Get dressed," she says before she walks out. I watch her as she walks out, and I throw my hand back. I groan, accepting my fate.
