This not going to happen. not without Mae.

"What is happening!" Mae screamed as she tucked herself on Bryan.

"Just stay inside." Hao Ge shouted back. Berick had neglected his duty to protect Mae as he ran towards the gate. It was all silent now, just as it had started. 'Why did I have to be born in this family.' A kind of question repeated in Bryan head as he dragged Mae into the manor.

If only he had his complete memories, would he realise that the day Abi left, is the same day cases of abductions arose. He was unaware that Jake was the man being hunted now, not because of his new title as the young Prince of Ge, but because of a Billion dollar conspiracy.

Prince Ge had been alerted of the gunfire outside his manor, and due to responsibility, he had to rush leaving behind the elder to accompany Jake. But they all ran after him too.

"Mae!" Jake shouted as he neared the great manor.

"Mae!"

"Did you hear someone call my name?" Mae asked Bryan as they listened again attentively, sure yes!

"It's Jake!" Mae screamed rushing out of the room they had been directed to hide in.

"Mae, watch out!" Bryan followed behind alerting her.

"Jake!" Mae shouted as she opened the huge doors. Though there was no more gunfire going on, they still had to be cautious.

"Jake, over here!" Mae shouted as Jake ran to her.

"What happened?" He asked upon arriving. The elders had diverted to their own posts.

"I don't know, Aunt Xie Yu is out!"

They felt fear after a long time of shelter inside the manor.

"Stay here I'm going to have a look." Jake boldly said. He was not going to loose his Aunt, he was going to fight too.

"You not going anywhere."

"And who are you to say so?" Jake replied as his was pulled inside the manor before he could resist.

"I won't let you go. Even my grandma is out there." Bryan replied as he shut the door. The manor at this time was deserted. "Let's wait. The security in here is not one to be easily shook." Bryan pointed out.

The three stood waiting, on a corner, worriedly till a bang on the door freaked them out of their skins.

"Who's there!" Both Jake and Bryan shouted.

"I'm I going to ask permission to enter my own den?" That answer came from someone they did met.

"That is Prince Ge?" They seemed to question but no one spoke.

"Hey, dudes open the door!" Now someone else shouted banging the door. Atleast relieving them, that's Hao Ge? They all nodded as Jake unlocked the door.

"You guys?" Prince Ge stepped in, his butler just behind as the rest followed.

"You even dare lock me out of my house?" His tone was sarcastic. "Then lock me out again."

"Understand them, brother, they were frightened." Hao Ge intervened as he stepped in.

"I'm not angry, do I look angry?" Prince Ge responded as he pulled on a smile.

"Is good we got there in time."

"Where is my aunt?" Mae asked immediately.

"Don't you have eyes?" At this point Hao Ge spoke instead.

"Mae,Jake?" Aunt Xie Yu who was out the door overheard the conversation.

"Aunt!" Mae replied as the two ladies, Xie Yu and Miss Old Gindi made their way pass the door.

"I was soo worried." They both exclaimed as they hugged the three of them, all together.

"Old Aunt Gindi?" Prince Ge summoned. "I think you should let Bryan know what really is going on." He whispered into her ears as she withdrew herself from the hug.

The look on her face clearly gave the answer No.

"Is not the right time." She whispered back.

"What happened?" Jake wanted to know, so did Bryan and Mae.

"Nothing bad."

"Nothing bad!" Jake almost exploded. "That was a gunfire we heard, you would have died yet you say nothing bad.!" Jake yelled.

"Calm down. Is not like we not going to talk." Miss Old Gindi interrupted Jake who was all but now terrified.

"No one attacked us." Xie Yu added.

"But someone wants us out of this country for good."

Now even Bryan was confused.

"Why now?" They asked in unison.

"We still don't know, but it's all about your father."

Xie Yu tried to explain but she just didn't know how to put her words out. "Let me explain." Miss Old Gindi requested.

"There is money your father stole from a very dangerous organization. We were warned that you should leave for good if you want to live."

"I'm not understanding why." Prince Ge popped in. He had listened to this all the way in here from the gate but he was still unsatisfied. 'Just why should they leave.?'

"Katumo withdrew the money the day Jake came back from Us... The masked man who threatened us said they had thought the money was in Jake's hands but now they not sure, he said Katumo gave it to someone in secret." Miss Old Gindi was tired of narrating.

"So he proposed to let Mae and Jake live, but outside this country."

"Let's report this to the police now!" Mrs. Yumaa who had been silent all this time suggested. She had left early with her husband to spend the night else where but had returned after getting the call from Hao Ge.

"There is no need. This organization is likely part of the Government, we can't trust anyone. Let's just abide, you were to leave anyway, there is no change." Miss Old Gindi said as everyone thought over it.

"We should all rest. This will end tomorrow." Xie Yu broke the silence.

"Well, since you guys will be leaving tomorrow, I will have my men escort you to the airport." Prince Ge offered.

"Thank you so much." Xie Yu accepted the offer.

"Let's all get some rest." Prince Ge said as his butler got in action ready to show everyone to their room.

"After this we have dinner at 9 sharp." The butler notified everyone. "You two, follow me." He pointed at Bryan and Mae, who were already a couple to follow upstair.

"You have the room to the left, while you have the next. The butler showed them two different rooms once they got up. "And mind this. The room next to you are all your Aunt and Granny's, don't think of disturbing them." He said with a warning tone.

'Just what do you mean?' Bryan wanted to ask but kept quiet instead.

"Thanks." Mae appreciated as the butler opened the door for her.

"Your room is there." The butler blocked Bryan who was just about to follow Mae in.

"You can't invade her privacy. Get to your room.!" The butler whispered in a bad hoarse voice that Mae couldn't hear.

This almost made Bryan angry. Whats wrong with this old butler? Who doesn't know she is my girlfriend?

"Ok. I'm leaving." Bryan immediately stepped aside and unlocked the next door.

"Not that door. The other door!" The butler almost yelled.

"But you said the room next to hers is mine?" Bryan was pissed off now.

"Yeah I did but I've changed my mind. Your room should be on the west wing, not here. Follow me!"

"What!" Bryan yelled.

Now Mae had to come back out, "what's going on?" She asked as Bryan complained.

"Nothing much, your boy here won't follow me to his room." The butler now answered softly, not a hint of hoarseness in his voice.

"And what's the problem with that?" Mae asked directing the question to Bryan.

"We can't sleep in the same room, we have to show some manners, is just today. Honey." Mae reasoned. "Remember this not home."

'Well ok.' Bryan didn't believe this. This was the last night with Mae yet she acted like it wasn't. From tomorrow they will be leaving till who know when.

"I got no problem with that." Bryan said cutting her blabber out.

"Please let me show you your room mister." The butler all politely in the presence of Mae asked of Bryan who followed obediently.

They walked past yet another hall as they look the spiral stairs at the opposite end down to the ground floor.

"Where are you taking me?" Bryan asked as he noticed the distance was too wide.

"To your room of course." The butler answered happily.

'Why are you happy now!' Bryan really wanted to turn back and abandon him but found himself following behind foolishly.

They got to the other end of the manor and up yet now another stair, 'is this a tour now?'

"You taking me so far from the rest!" Bryan complained as he could now see he was directly opposite Mae's and the rest's quarter.

This is the west wing, most servants resides here.

"Now this room is all yours tonight, welcome Mister Gindi." The butler bowed as he opened the door.

This room was decent, he liked its design and interior but it was too far from the rest.

"You brought me so far from the rest." Bryan still complained.

"Yeah. And I also got you a personal maid to look after you tonight." This butler was dirt. "If you feel you can't find your way back she will lead you back, remember dinner will be served at 9."

Bryan had nothing to say.

"I knew you disliked me the very first time." Bryan said as he pulled out his phone to chat Mae.

"Excuse me mister." A sweet tender voice came from the door he had not locked.

"Yes?" Bryan answered. He had not expected this.

"My name is Bella, I'm here at your service." A young woman walked in the room.

'Do I really need a woman tonight?' Bryan regretted coming here as he saw the woman smile.

'This not going to happen.'
