A conspiracy.

"Hey?" Mae stood some distance away from the dark silhouette. Something felt fishy here.

"Hello, little princess." It was Prince William Ge, he looked like a vampire. His black suit made him blend into the shadows as he walked towards Mae. 'Why is he coming near.' Mae was terrified, no one knew she was up here, and she began to panic. 'What if he does something bad?'

"No need to panic. I just want to talk with you." William Ge approached her reading her mind. "Do you think I'm a bloodsucker? Oh c'mon, don't tell me you soo timid."

His tone was low, yet audible. In a way, it took away her fears but made this meeting suspicious. "What do you want to talk about?" Mae asked as the man claiming to be a prince stopped an inch away from her. She could feel the warmness radiating from his body, he stood too close to her.

"What do you think about your brother inheriting half of my father's wealth?... You are my sister now, you don't have to fear me." William Ge added as he noticed the youthful girl had taken a step back.

"Are you afraid?" He asked as she won't speak.

Mae's pov was all but nasty, more like creepy. She feared the worst may happen just like months ago back in Miami. She had almost lost her virginity back then, now this man made her old nightmare haunt her again.

"Stay away from me!" She warned as William Ge wouldn't let the distance open up.

"Is ok my..." The infamous Prince William Ge tried to act cool but Mae was already aware of his intentions.

"I'm not a princess!" She cut him off as she took another step away.

"Mae, I will be straight to the point. I have strong feelings for you."

"Fuck off!" Mae denied his lustful false feelings. "I'm going back!" She declared. Now she knew he was not here wanting to discuss any important issue but love affairs, no wonder he had to make this creepy place the venue.

"You not leaving now." His tone was still calm, this reminded her of Jane, she had to use her third eye now. "I knew your father well. And about the billion-dollar conspiracy... I can give you the money if you want it." He was confident in his trick, he knew she was in love with the Gindi heir, but he had to use his means to get her, even if it meant spending on her. Mae thought over it, who is he? How does he know of that money? He must be lying.

"I don't need the money!" Mae denied. This was tempting but why give her all that money?

"Think about this, I give the money to you now... I'm not demanding anything from you in exchange."

"Why are you giving me all that money?" Mae asked. Her fears had subdued but she still held on to her cautiousness.

"Because your father wished me to hand it over to you." Prince William said straightly as he suddenly placed his arm on her shoulder. "You have to keep this a secret, don't tell anyone, not even Bryan."

'Why is his arm on my shoulder!' Mae was caught off-guard. She had not seen this coming, now she stood like a pole with his arm around her shoulder, pulling her closer as he whispered to her in the darkness.

"Should I make the transactions right away? Cutie?"

"No don't!" Mae rejected. She could feel herself being drawn nearer to his side but she was already fear-struck. Is he the man pulling strings behind the curtain? Maybe he is the same person who sent an assassin to terrify her aunt outside the gate earlier.

"I will protect you, my princess, you don't have to worry bout a thing," William assured her as he pulled her onto his side as deceitfully began turning so her head lay on his chest.

'Ran away Mae! You are lying on his chest! What! How come I'm not resisting!' Her thoughts screamed in her head warning her, but despite the red flags, she didn't resist. Not now, I need to know more.

"Think about this. Your boyfriend has a mental illness... With this money and my support, you can have him healed for good. You will never have to worry about his illness ever again." Prince William Ge tempted her.

"What if the assassins are sent after me?" Mae asked. She could feel the shivers already.

"I will protect you."

Prince Ge smiled in the dark secretly. He had now completed his first step, all he had to do was get her to his room, she won't even realise till it was already done.

"You soo young and beautiful, you the most blessed among all on earth." He said as his finger found a way to slide on her neck. This feeling was tickling. A cold wind blew softly against their face, "It's getting cold, why don't we get back?" Mae tried to get away as she realized she was not in a good position.

Prince Ge wrapped his hand around her shoulder as he blocked the coldness for her.

"Let's get back." He said as he abided by her wish.

"I would do anything for you, honey," Mae remembered her promise to Bryan. She had decided to have the money, and get Bryan treated for his illness. But she had no idea of what was on the way. Is there even money in this conspiracy?

"Why are we headed opposite?" Mae asked as she realized this was the west wing Bryan had left earlier. She did wish to see him but the moment now was not a good picture for him, how would she explain to him if he suspected anything weird?

"I want to avoid the front door, and sneak you back in." Prince Ge replied.

"Ok," Mae said as she followed behind, her hand in his.

"Please let go of my hand." She begged. 'Why I'm I losing focus?' His grasp was tight and warm but she disliked it.

"Ok, just don't get lost behind." Prince Ge knew how to hide his iniquitous intention professionally. Now Mae realized she had been thinking evil of her half-brother. She didn't sense any maliciousness in Prince Ge.

"Bryan is somewhere on this wing," Mae informed William as they walked into the huge manor from the western end.

"I didn't know about that... Isn't his room not on the east wing? Who showed him here?" Prince Ge asked as they now walked into the west hall.

"Your butler said his room was in the west wing," Mae replied as Prince Ge said there shouldn't be a problem if his butler thought of it.

"Let me take you up, I can guess the room Bryan is in." Prince Ge offered.

"Thanks." Mae smiled for the first time. Now she accused herself. 'He is not a pervert after all. He is even more caring than Jake.'

She praised her newfound brother as she remembered how he had blocked the coldness for her.

"Let's hurry up." Prince Ge smiled back as he took the stairs up, Mae close behind.

She felt nervous. Bryan was supposed to meet her after dinner, she checked her phone and almost lost hope. "It's past 9!"

"Is ok. We can change plan and just head back, the rest should be dining." Prince Ge said as they got to the upper abandoned floor.

"All servants should be in their room, asleep by now." Prince Ge smiled, he was a wealthy Prince.

"The first room belonged to my butler, that's the only room apart from the rest that Bryan can be ushered in." Prince Ge said as they walked up to stand outside the normal heavy wooden door.

"Knock. He should be in." Prince Ge urged Mae who was hesitating. "Let me do it for you." He knocked thrice as he stepped back but no one responded.

"Seems he has already ended for diner." Prince Ge said as he turned the knob. The door was unlocked. "See, no one is here." He confirmed as they invaded the room.

"Let me text him," Mae said as she pressed the pads on her phone quickly.

"He left his phone on the window sill?" They heard the beep as a phone vibrated on the sill. 'This is not his usual behaviour.' Mae was sure Bryan wouldn't leave his phone behind, not when she had not replied to his text.

"Before we leave can you do one thing for me?" Prince Ge asked.

"What thing? I'll do if possible."

"Come to my room, I got you a surprise before you leave for the US." He sounded like a brother but this was all a fox in sheepskin.

"Fine. I'll."

She agrees without undoing. Prince Ge twisted his index finger around his middle as he prayed that the next move would take action. He had to separate Mae from Bryan so he can take advantage, or so he thought.

"What is wrong with you?" Bryan asked again. Bella had to stop jiggling her fatness to start a game.

"We play like this, if you want me to take you to her, you got to choose between a kiss or grab. Are you ready for the rules?"

"You are wasting my time now. I'm not playing any games with you!" Bryan was not at the least interested. All he thought about was Mae.

"You not leaving my room! Not until you play with me." Bella ordered with an angry tone out of nowhere.

"Get off the door!" Bryan immediately thought this servant was acting, presumably to distract him. He had a strong feeling something was wrong.

"Don't touch me again!" Bella warned Bryan who had accidentally brushed her titanic pillows as he tried pulling her back from the door.

"Get your ass off the door then!" Bryan was not going to let her rule him.

"I won't!" She stood her ground as Bryan pushed her instead, this time the door gave way and they both sprawled out, with Bryan on top of this fat mountain.

"You are wicked!" Bella cursed as she pulled her dress over her knees.

"Sorry." Bryan apologized as he stood up to leave but instead froze halfway.

"Mae?"
