The new young lord.

Bryan's new state as a young lord.

Bryan found the courage to tell Mr Yumaa of his wife's( Mrs Tyukiyomi) whereabouts as they sat in the living room.

The news was a shock to Mr Yumaa who had just arrived and had yet to meet his wife. Now he looked around the room and decided to give a call to the police.

"Why didn't you tell me any of this yesterday!" He asked as he placed the phone in his ears. His eyes were red with rage as he imagined his wife spending a night in a rot-smelling cell.

Since there was no maid in the mansion at the time, Old miss Gindi had left the place with only the guards to look after the place, Abi and Mae had to prepare breakfast this morning.

They got along well as they helped each other with the dishes. Something they had obtained after today's morning glory.

"Stop looking at me like that!" Mae shied away as Abi added something after her.

"I did not know you are also as wicked as me."

They both giggled as they talked about Bryan, both swearing that in the end, it will be either who serves him frequently.

"Breakfast is ready." They both chimed in with a tray full of well-spread bread and tea.

"My perfect taste, African tea." Mr Yumaa took a sip and praised them.

Despite the condition, it didn't affect his enormous appetite as he gurgled down the tea and bread without a break.

"Mr Yumaa?" Bryan had to call on him politely.

"I've not had anything to eat since early yesterday. I was starving!" He said as he wiped some chunks off the tip of his mouth.

"What did the police say about your wife.?" Bryan asked.

"Well, she is being released on bond as we speak. That useless guy accused her of stealing his car!" He was glad of her release but had a score to settle with Joe Ken.

"The police will be here anytime. If they question you about Prince Ge, just be honest." Mr Yumaa advised as he finished his cup.

"It's not safe for you here Bryan. Your grandma sent me to prepare a new home for you back in China. You have relatives there." Mr Yumaa disclosed his wish as he also made it known that it was the Old Missus' wish as well.

"I'm not leaving till I get to the bottom of this. Someone is sending men after me yet you say I should seek refuge elsewhere! Am running no more." Bryan firmly said with remorse.

His situation was understandable, a state of fear and restriction for freedom, but even the government could do nothing about it but make fortune out of selling his articles in the daily gazette.

He was the new lord of the Gindi, and he will make sure all this was solved.

"Did you sign the papers?" Mr Yumaa who had nothing to say for now decided to inquire instead.

"No, I didn't." Bryan honestly reacted by waving his hand. "I don't need any money, I will let the board oversee everything for the time being."

This was what Abi disagreed on. She had already failed in getting Bryan to sign and agree to his responsibility.

'Why does he not want to own what he can!' Abi looked at Bryan who was letting everyone know of his wish.

"There are some important matters you have to understand. Being a Gindi isn't just having the title of a Billionaire but..."

The door was knocked roughly at this moment as the guard came in politely.

"Police, sir." His report was simple.

"Let them in." Mr Yumaa agreed as the gate was opened up for the cruiser that drove in.

"Mr Joe Ken! What brings you here this early." Yumaa played well welcoming the police.

"I brought your wife back." Inspector Joe Ken said as the back door was opened by one of the other police who had come along and Tysukiyomi stepped out.

It was a bad morning for them as Mr Yumaa watched his mate walk toward him as if in slow motion. The sun shone on her creating a halo behind her causing Mr Yumaa to fantasize for a minute before he woke up.

'Slap!'

"That's for ignoring me!" Mrs Yumaa who had already walked up to him gave him a mighty slap without holding back.

"Next time it won't be a slap!" Mrs Yumaa warned with a pointing finger as she walked past him and stood beside Bryan with a smile as if nothing was wrong.

"Are you ok dear?" She asked as her husband talked with the inspector.

The field was humiliating as Mr Yumaa had not even had the chance to explain anything but just receive his punishment.

By the time his wife walked past him, his palm was still on his blazing cheek.

"Hehe, I didn't know I just released a python out for you." Inspector Joe Ken chuckled before getting to the root of his visit.

"I won't beat around the bush. Yesterday this place was a real mess. I wonder why." Inspector Joe Ken went straight to his point.

"You were the cause of all of it." He added so everyone heard him well.

His speech sent goosebumps down their spine as Bryan knew that he had evil servants amongst him.

Thanks to Joe Ken for revealing this.

"Pardon. You are accusing my husband?" Mrs Yumaa stood up for her soulmate.

Just what did he mean by saying Yumaa caused all that yesterday, "why would you say so!"

Inspector Joe Ken grinned as he saw the act Mrs Yumaa was pulling on. If he wanted he would have also sued her for stealing his car.

"You stole my car and I forgave you. Now tell me where you were with my car." He asked as his enforcers stood some more distance near him.

In the Gindi compound, nothing couldn't be, from taking the law in hand to more unmentionable doings.

"I drove home. Do you have an issue with that?"Mrs Yumaa was not the kind to be polite, not even after being lifted off her charges.

" I won't go easy on you. My time is precious for something else." Inspector Joe Ken got serious now.

"Earlier this morning, the body of William Ge was found dead. Bruised and scratched all over. As for who did it, we don't have any idea yet but the forensic will give us a report anytime from now." Inspector Joe Ken watched their faces keenly as he spoke.

This was the first time Bryan had taken a life, he felt his heartbeat thump harder as his blood rushed through his veins causing a slight tremble at his fingers.

"We have nothing to do with the death of that Prince." Mr Yumaa asserted.

"I didn't accuse anyone." And inspector Joe Ken retorted as he left.

He had nothing more to say. The way he came in was the same way he was now leaving, without playing around with his words but letting them know what and exactly he wanted to say and reveal to them.

"Where was Hao Ge when his brother attacked you?" Mrs Yumaa asked the three who were standing behind her.

"I've never seen Hao Ge, when I left the office we parted ways." Bryan shook as he tried to say.

"He had to be here." Mrs Yumaa was sure of her words. She knew Hao Ge well like a partner, he had to have been back before nightfall.

"Why did Joe say you started everything yesterday?" She had wanted to ask earlier but decided to wait till the outsiders had left.

Now Mr Yumaa led them back inside the house, quietly without a word.

"Did you start all this!" Mrs Yumaa demanded an answer.

"He attacked me!" Her husband raged as he made a sudden n stop. He knew they won't believe him but he said it for once.

Now everyone stood in question. Was this true? How could Hao Ge attack Mr Yumaa? It was not making any sense.

"Why would he attack you?" Mrs Yumaa asked as she doubted his words. It was not like she didn't trust her husband but the fact that they fought was weird.

"I don't know why. He tried stopping me outside the gates." Mr Yumaa said with a fraud.

This case was not easy at all. Ever since the police reopened the Gindi case, it had just caused more deaths and terror.

Bryan had nothing to say, at this point, he looked at his protector. 'Now who is loyal?'

He remembered the day he first met Hao Ge at Dagoretti. He had not believed him then, but now, he was his most trusted guard and more so his friend.

"Hao Ge can't attack you without a reason." Bryan found himself mumbling as the two couples surprisingly stared back at him.

"Sorry, I'm not trying to mean anything" He added as he felt that he was adding salt to the injury.

"What do you mean then." Mr Yumaa insisted as he locked his gaze on him.

"Nothing nothing, am just confused." Bryan was not timid at all but he didn't want to spoil anything at the moment.

"We should think over something else. Xie Yu should be here anytime." Mrs yumaa suggested but in her head, she still had questions to be answered.

"Aunt Xie?" Mae glammed. She had missed that bossy lady, only that she won't say.

"I hope to meet Berick too." Bryan tugged Mae as Abi followed behind.

They were to wait for the rest, no more hiding.

Back in the living room.

Mrs Yumaa stared at her husband. "When did the two girls negotiate?"
