Poor Elfara

Jess sat on the balcony sipping a white roll of tar and nicotine. A portrait he looked at many times restlessly. Little Elfara suddenly ran towards her, the little girl smiled carrying a painting on the hvs. Jess put Nick's photo beside her hot coffee. Ever since Nick left, it's been coffee that has accompanied her days. No more hot chocolate to soothe her mind.

"Mommy!" Jess saw the paper Elfara had given her. The child drew a picture of herself smiling with Nick and Jess. The picture is titled "perfect family".

Jess smiled sadly. Five years, Elfara grew into a beautiful girl. That child wants the same thing, namely a father figure and of course love from her. Jess held out the painting again, but before Elfara could reach it, the paper was blown away by the wind. Elfara tried to reach it then accidentally bumped her mother's coffee which was still steaming. Glasses shattering sounded, black liquid hitting her soft skin. She immediately looked down. Jessy's face was gloomy.

"Why are you reckless?" Jess put her hands on her hips. "Sorry!" Elfara's tears almost spilled, she knew very well what her mother meant. Her mother was angry, not because the skin on her hands was turning red, but because some coffee had ruined Nick's photo. She knew that her mother loved her father so much that whatever it had to do with it, her mother became cold and emotional.

"You're stupid! Go to your room!" That five-year-old girl ran to her room with tears. Elfara sat on the bed to finish her pain. Honey, the tears won't stop. The girl, whose hair was tied in two shuffles, took a photo under her bed then climbed back into the bed and buried her whole body in the blanket. She looked at the figure of her father printed on the glossy paper. It's the only photo she has. She kept it well. During this time, her mother kept all her father's photos just like she kept gold. Elfara was not allowed to keep it or just display it in the room. That expressionless photo she found under her mother's vault.

"Daddy, when are you coming home? Why is it taking so long?" Elfara muttered.

"Do you know? Mommy scolded me again. Just because your photo got wet. I know mommy is sad, but I'm sad too. I was happy, my 100th drawing managed to make mommy smile. However, the image just flew away." Elfara wiped the tears that were running down her cheeks.

"Daddy, did you know? Mommy loves you more than me. Look! People say that I look a lot like you, but you get more affection." Elfara's tears continued to flow, bringing wounds that tore the recesses of her heart. Her innocent voice was like a slash of meat splattered with vinegar. Very sore, creating pus that is getting thicker. Who would bear to see a child whose face was wet with tears?

Jess peeked through the gap in the door, Elfara's cries still being heard under the covers. She turned around, allowing her daughter to calm down. According to her, there is something more important than giving understanding to Elfara. She hurriedly changed into her formal attire, then drove to Ministries Esplanade, Monumental Axis. But it's really bad luck, struggling to get access, the person who is looking for does not exist.

She came back with an angry heart. However, she did not want her struggle to stop here. Years without a husband made her very tormented. Something popped out of her eye every time she thought of Nick. Her husband had never failed in any mission and at the latest he would be home after two weeks from the time of departure. All kinds of assumptions lodged in her head. Nick enters a dangerous forbidden forest area.

Anything can happen. She remembered Jacob's story that anyone who went in there would die a horrific death or disappear somewhere. Suddenly the nape of her neck clenched, imagining the horror there. Thinking of Nick, her mind got more and more chaotic.

Finally, she decided to go to IBAMA headquarters. Not wanting to repeat the same thing, Jess made a call before going there. Jess pulled her four wheeler over the shoulder of the road.

"Hello Mr. Rexford Duarte, I want to meet you. Do you have time?" she asked.

"Sorry, Mrs Erhan. I currently have a lot of work. I'm going to your house tonight. How?"

"Well, it's an honor for me. Enjoy your work." The short call that connected made her smile.

It was eleven o'clock at night, Elfara was already engrossed in surfing in the dream world. The house grew quiet after Misca was gone. Bill? Of course, the man chose Velove for a pretty logical reason, namely he didn't want his marriage to be annulled. Jess was wearing casual clothes. Without blush, her face looks charming. Her lips are naturally red without lipstick. So were her eyebrows and eyelashes, black and thick. She didn't have to worry about turning pale if she didn't apply blush. Five minutes of sitting waiting on the terrace, finally the important person she had been waiting for had arrived.

"Mr. Rexford, I'm so happy to meet you!" Jess shook the hand of the dark-skinned man who had just arrived.

"Hi, Mrs Erhan. Long time no see, you are getting more beautiful."

"You're handsome too, like you're thirty-five years old."

"Who would have thought that a handsome man like me was forty-two years old?" They laughed.

"By the way, what we will discuss tonight is my husband. How about we just talk inside?" said Jess.

"It doesn't matter, I'm also feeling thirsty. Who knows, you might have the best wine collection."

"Mr. Rexford, I just happened to have Cheval Blanc, Chateu Margaux and Taste of Diamonds."

"Wow, you have a stock of really expensive drinks! You really are an excellent wine consumer, Mrs Erhan." Jess responded to Rexford's compliment with a chuckle, then she invited her important guest to sit in the living room while she went to the mini bar.

Shortly after, Jess returned with a tray of two empty glasses and a bottle of Taste of Diamond, an expensive $1.8 million wine actually made from pinot noir, pinot meunier and grand cru chardonnay. Alexander Amosu's wine has a high price because the bottle is made of 18 carat gold and 19 carat white diamonds. Rexford could not blink with the luxury presented in that diamond-cut bottle.

"Come on, toast!" Jess's voice brought the curly haired man back to consciousness.

"Oh, yes!" said Rexford.

"So what do you want to talk about Nick?" Rexford continued as he took a sip of the expensive wine that was served.

"My husband and his community went to the forest on a mission!" Jess quivered a little to recount the story.

"Does it mean?" Rexford showed a crease on his forehead.

"You must know about the forest that was closed by the government, right?" Rexford nodded, listening intently to Jess's long-winded explanation.

"My husband and his community agreed to a proposal. Erm, it just so happens that the reputation of the Kingdom community is in bad shape and is in danger of being disbanded because it is considered to be shifting the reputation of the police and military."

"Wait! What is your husband's community doing?" Jess rolled her eyes. Is there such a popular community who doesn't know? Doubt finally arose in Jess's heart, but then she thought, what's the harm in trying.

"Arresting killers and rapists of tourists."

"Then?" asked Rexford.

"As of now, they have not returned. There was not a single word from them. The tracking devices are all off. Their whereabouts are undetected."

"So, you mean, you want me to help you find them?"

"That's right! Please, help me!" Jess groaned.

"Okay, I'll help you, but on one condition!"

"What?" Rexford rolled his eyes at Jessy's body. She knew very well what a man who gave her that look wanted. Jess was silent for a while. How could she possibly do that with another man?

"I just want one night of fun and 8000 rials to treat my wife to a meal. Of course, it's easy for you, right?"

"I'll pay you whatever you want, but for that one night… it's impossible!"

"If you don't want to, that's fine. I still have a lot of work to do. Thanks for the wine. Next time I will visit again." Rexford lifted his ass, he managed to put heavy pressure on Jess, it could be seen in Jessy's sparkling eyes.

"Okay, I agree. For my husband!" Rexford's thick lips smirked.

Reluctantly, Jess let Rexford's hairy hands carry her into the room. She was on the verge of tears as her clothes slowly moved to the floor. However, Rexford's gentle touches managed to get rid of her confusion. Jess couldn't deny that her body needed it. For more than five years, her biological needs have not been met. The dry land needs maintenance and Rexford, the grown man, is very good at his game. Almost an hour passed, unexpectedly, there was a little girl who witnessed the battle that was not over. She was Elfara, the innocent girl standing in the doorway fearfully. Slowly, Elfara took a knife and walked towards them.

"Let go of Mommy. Don't hurt her!"

"Elfara!" Jess and Rexford gasped, that little girl had hurt Rexford's back. The man got up and stopped his hot movement. The knife that had turned red in color just fell.

"Damn it!" Elfara's fear increased. The man's face was as scary as the devil's. Elfara rolled her eyes at the knife, wanting to take it, but luck was not on her side. Rexford grabbed the sharp object first, then swung it at Elfara.

"No!" Jess screamed, but her voice couldn't stop the dark-skinned male demon's hand. The knife had been perfectly embedded into Elfara's small stomach. Elfara, poor innocent girl. She thought her mother was being molested, so she had to experience an unexpected misfortune. Jess screamed hysterically, hugging the little body covered in blood with trembling hands.
