The trial number two was about to start.

"Welcome Back, all the constellations and Gods"

The Mechanical voice on the P.A was back and was announcing the Arrival of The Watchers.

"Contrary to all our expectations, Our Competitor has passed the first Trial"

"But will he be able to pass the second trial as easily?"

Soon two gates rose up in the center of the stage. One blue and one black.

"Now will the Competitor go though the Blue gate and Proceed to the next Trial or Will he take the black one and exit the trial?"

There was a choice, between another trial and an exit.

<{I'll never back down! Open the Blue one.}>

When he chose the Blue gate,

the Black gate was burnt down and only ashes remained.

After the black gate was burnt down,

The Blue gate Opened up and revealed a glimpse of the next stage.

It was a dark room,

filled with stars all over the place.

He walked though the gate and entered the second trial.

Once he set his feet inside the room,

the Door disappeared eliminating all light inside the room.

"Hello watchers!"

"Our Competitor has reached the Second Trial"

"This is the trial of Illusions also known as The Confrontation With the Demons Within."

"Let's see if our Competitor can complete this trial."

after that the voice was not heard again.

Without any instructions ,

Xuanqing was clueless. He did not know what to do in this trial.

When he didn't know what to do, he thought about completing the research about the use of an foreign energy to use an incompatible technique.

This was the perfect atmosphere for it,

and now due to the increase of the Mana and aura stats he was now able to sense Other types of Energies as well.

In order to start using techniques using Mana,

he first needed to First Mark his Meridians with his Qi and then form the mana veins.

When he was about to run his Qi,

a familiar voice called out to him.

["Xuan.....Xuanqi... Xuanqing..."]

The Voice was strangely familiar to him like he had always heard this voice.

He stood up and turned towards the direction of the voice

There was nobody standing there,

it was then that he heard it again and finally saw the source of the voice.

[Xuanqing....Why did you leave Me....]

It was the crawling body of his brother, Qin Tianqing.

With a blue/green skin,

red bloody eyes,

Tattered Clothes and wounds all over the body.

Xuanqing was Horrified seeing his brother in this state,

["Xuanqing...why did you leave us in the hands of these soldiers"]

It was the body of his sister in law.

He was frightened out of his wits,

And fell to the ground. he was grabbed by the two Ghosts.

<{I--I---I Did not leave you....}>

Xuanqing was terrified by the Ghosts

"Although it is just a guess but I think that the Watchers and probably our Competitor has figured out the test of trial two."

"Trial two is about breaking free from your inner demons."

"once you break free from your demons,

you can proceed to the next trial."

It was now that Xuanqing knew what the voice meant by the trial being difficult.

["Uncle~~, Why did you run away instead of rescuing us?"]

Now it was turn for his niece to come.

After he knew that this was a trial of willpower,

he stopped being frightened.

He was now much calmer than before.

He again sat down in a cross legged position and started to mark his Meridians,

while his Meridians were getting marked he thought of possible ways he could confront his demons.

By using a technique,

That would not work as it was just an illusion.

By ignoring them,

It's not a problem but it's not sure if that would yield him the points he need to buy the next part of Gargantuan God's Broken Halberd. or even pass.

He was confused,

When it clicked to him, he needed to confront his past. He needed to Confront his demons.

But that could wait.

He doesn't know if the next trial will give him another chance to peacefully do his research.

Now, His Meridians were finally Marked with Qi and he noticed something.

Qi was driven from the Dantian while Mana is driven out from the Mana heart and can thus cause after effects to the heart.

And while researching the mana heart he had an idea.

The quality and quantity of MANA depends upon the emotions of the user. Then what if he used his Mana to amplify his Will and destroy these ghosts?

But to implement it he needed veins, Mana Veins.....so he began to create new Veins on top of his blood veins.

It was a process with excruciating pain.

It was like his whole body was being remade.

He was squirming in pain for about 7 minutes

And he was being tortured by the Demons.

It was true hell....he was suffering so much that his azure scales that were hidden in his skin, surfaced....

And soon all his scales fell off...

He couldn't notice it as he was unable to divert his focus from creating mana veins.

his body began rejecting his blood and pores opened all over his body, making his blood flow out.

but it did not waste away, it hardened up to create his new red and black dragon scales.

His mana veins were now fully formed and he had a massive increase in his level of MANA circles around his heart,

it was a 7-circle mana heart. at this point he was strong enough to be counted as the human, beastmen, elves and the monster race's strongest fighter.

It was then that he woke up,

He was surprised to see that he wasn't an azure dragon anymore.....he was evolved, evolved from a mythical class being to a Divine rank being.

A Divine Crimson Blood Dragon.

He was overjoyed with his emotions and started to drive natural mana in a similar way he did in order to enter the Halberd but this time it was much easier as he now had permanent pathways instead of using some makeshift channel.

He drove all his mana out of his body for two reasons,

Firstly, to get a idea of how much energy his body is containing.

And secondly, to get the maximum impact on the room's illusion formation.

A few seconds later, he had a massive ball of pure mana in his hands, it was massive enough to cover almost the entire room and the room was about the size of 10,000 square meters.

And once it was filled up, he released it and let his mana flood the room.

His mana had willpower strong enough to make a crack in the formation.

and he was free from the trial of demons.

"Well....this was quite an unexpected way to clear the trial of Illusions..."

"But it was by far the most entertaining way"

Xuanqing was enraged, but at the same time he was conflicted. He felt guilty about leaving his family and running away.

But he knew that if he had stayed back just to die with them, there would be no one to to take revenge and MuHan still needed strength to overthrow The Jade Empire's Emperor.

and The piece he just bought the the rod from before fused to create a run down, ancient Halberd like weapon. although it was still unusable, it was starting to look like a Halberd already.

once he was done, the two doors appeared in Front of him once again.

and it was once again his choice to move on or to quit.
