He was bent, picking up a file that fell on the floor when I crashed into him.

He raised his head. "I'm a Josh, not a William."

My eyes flicker staring at the stranger. "Oh sorry you look like someone I know."

"I'm so sorry for bumping into you." I kept apologizing.

Stupid Adeline. Am I going to call every blond-haired, blue-eyed man William?

He said nothing, waving his hand to dismiss me.

"Excuse me miss," I moved out of his way. He bypasses me without a glance.

I walked into the elevator, so glad I was the only one in. My face was so red from the embarrassing encounter.

I had trouble looking for Brittany's office. I should have asked that arrogant receptionist. But thankfully, the assistants here are quite polite and kind. One directed me to her office. It was on the next floor.
