After I entered the room with Aiden, I waited a few minutes, but Aiden stood silently and didn't speak. I couldn't take it anymore and asked worriedly about his previous behavior. " What's going on Aiden? Why are you standing still? Could you please tell me something too?"
Aiden finally regained consciousness and looked at me. I could see the guilty look and worry on his face. His lips trembled hesitantly, but then he spoke. "I'm sorry Elanor. It's all my fault. I wish we never met you that day."
Why are you saying that? For me, it was one of the best days of my life, you know? I got a little angry and spoke out loud. "How can you say something like that, Aiden? It was one of the best days for me. I've never met anyone my age other than you, and I've been dying to meet you again. I won't let you curse a day that is sacred to me."
