Confirmed

A new day started and Gabi's body was 100% healed. Shoko thought he was lying when he informed her about his condition but when she inspected him she was surprised that he healed up fully in less than a day, nothing was really happening much after the whole incident happened when rogue sorcerers who aren't affiliated with Tokyo or Kyoto heard that Gojo killed the infamous killer Toji they went back into hiding. Gabi decided to get back into training even though Shoko forbade him but she knew she couldn't convince the boy to change his mind since he was set on it. Gabi went into the training field and did his everyday workout and since he got stronger he raised the numbers to increase his body strength. He did 250 squats, 250 high knees, 250 side lunges, 250 push-ups, 250 sit-ups, 250 jumping jacks and ended it off by jogging around the high school. As always Makima would join him since they are the only ones who work out at 5 in the morning. However, this morning was different from their regular mornings. Gabi had questions he wanted to ask but he didn't know how to because he was still unable to know that what he saw yesterday was real. While they were jogging Makima could sense Gabi was tense this morning normally he would talk her to death while they train but this morning they switched sides. Makima was talking to Gabi to death as he was quiet and making small talk. She knew something was bothering him and she had a feeling he saw something so she wanted to investigate but not around where people could hear them.

" Hey Gabimaru, let's expand our area and jog outside of the school," Makima suggests.

Gabi didn't think anything of it so he agreed and both of them jogged outside of the school premises and went towards the woods where there were barely any civilians there. As they were getting deeper into the woods, Makima stopped her movements. " What's going on with you ?" she asked him.

Gabi pauses his jogging and turns to where Makima is," Hmm? What do you mean?"

Makima let her hair out of her ponytail so her scalp could breathe. " Don't play dumb Gabimaru. You have been quiet all morning. Is there something you want to ask me?" she walks up to him, " Do you want to confirm something with me? "

Gabi sucked his teeth, " Not everything is about yo…"

" I know you saw what happened yesterday so stop it. Just cut to the chase and ask me what you've been dying to ask me Gabimaru." Makima's eyes were always cold but this time Gabimaru thinks it's dead and empty.

Gabi sighs as he pushes his hair out his face, " I saw you got shot repeatedly how on earth you weren't injured?" Gabimaru finally asked the question that's been lingering in his head since yesterday when he found out she was okay.

"Because I simply don't get hurt easily, " she gave a half-assed answer.

" I can obviously see that but how?" Since Makima started this conversation Gabimaru wants to end it after he gets the full truth.

Makima started to walk closer to Gabimaru, " I'm not the only one with secrets. It's funny how a 4th-grade sorcerer went head to head against someone who took down two of the best sorcerers." She came closer to his face looking up towards him, " I always knew you were hiding something ever since the first day I saw you and yesterday confirmed my suspicion."

Gabi looked directly into her eyes, " What suspicion do you have on me?"

Makima stroked her chin as if she was thinking about something, " That you are far more powerful than what others think. I heard what that man said. What is the name again? His name is Toji. Yes, Toji. He called you one of the greatest sorcerers he ever came across and that's funny because in the sorcerer world, people praise me, Gojo, and Geto. So when I heard that I was amazed hearing that coming from his mouth."

( How did she hear us? I didn't feel her presence at all.)

" And before you say I wasn't there I was imagining the conversation," She pushes his hair from his eyes so he can see her up close, " I can see and hear everything Gabimaru." She gazes into his blue orbs.

( Why does this feel like deja vu?)

"So? You are also hiding your curse technique. Nobody knows anything about it."

" That's true. Do you want to know what it is?" she offers the boy to know her big secret.

( Why do I feel like this is a trap? Out of all the people she wants to tell me?)

" No thanks…" he was unsure about saying yes.

Makima was surprised by his answer she expected him to say yes but he said the opposite, "That was a smart move Gaibmaru because if you had agreed to let me tell you my secret. " those cold eyes of hers went dark, " It would have been a bad move on your part."

Gabimaru backed away because any second he would probably avert his eyes from hers "Let's go back to the school Makima. I'm tired. " He changed the subject and Makima agreed to follow him.

After a long shower, Gabi decided to go around the school again because it was better than staying in his room. Although he wants to avoid Makima for a little bit because since this morning she creeped him out he wasn't going to let the red-haired girl make him become a shut-in. As he was walking he saw Geto sitting on the bench just staring into the sky.

"I'm surprised Shoko did not force you to stay in your room." Gabi starts the conversation.

Geto broke his gaze from the sky and looked at Gabi, " Yeah.." he rubbed his nape, " She tried to but quickly gave up."

Gabi laughed at his comment, "Sounds like her but where's your boyfriend you two are always together." Gabi started to make fun of Geto.

Geto and Gojo are nowhere dating but Gabi always pokes fun at Geto for it because they are always together. Whenever you see Gojo you will see Geto and vice versa. " He's on some mission now," Geto answers but his aura feels somewhat different.

Gabi sat on the bench next to Geto looking into the sky to see whatever Geto was watching, "Hey Gabi, how do you feel about sorcerers and curses?"

Gabi still was watching the skies leaning back on the bench, "Nothing much. As sorcerers we kill curses to make society better I guess."

" To make society better? I couldn't do a damned thing yesterday. She chose a path to have a normal life, to be free in the world, and right before my eyes she was gone. How can I make anything better when I can't protect one person?"

" We are blessed to have these gifts but we will also be punished for having these gifts. We must endure situations like this to move on and be stronger so stop sulking and think about how to get stronger to protect those in the future and stop thinking about the past."

" No matter how many curses I exercised, it still wouldn't do anything. This world will never be in peace." Geto replied to Gabi.

" We are not little kids playing hero's Geto. There is no such thing as world peace because there will always be corruption ready to come out from the shadows."

Geto got up from the bench, "One day you will see my view, Gabi. I can't explain my thoughts right now because I don't quite understand them myself." Geto walked away leaving Gabi alone on the bench.

" The day hasn't even finished yet and I already had enough with people. One person was acting weirder than usual, making me ask her questions that she already knew I wanted to ask and another one was trying to be the next messiah who wants world peace. I should have stayed with Shoko. I would rather read curse study books than deal with this." Gabi mumbles venting to himself.

( I need to visit Ms.Bushdia and Kenji I haven't seen them in a while.)
