Be as one

As Gabimaru was walking back to his dorm after his uncomfortable conversation with Geto the white-haired boy had encountered someone unpredictable in front of his dorm room. The figure was sitting down at his entrance door awaiting Gabi's arrival.

" Yu…? What brings you here?" Gabi said as he got close to his schoolmate.

Yu looked up and met eyes with the blue orbs, " We have to talk." That animated personality that Yu is known for was nowhere shown on his face. The black-haired boy's facial expression was unreadable as his eyes looked darker than normal.

( I just got out of a conversation that made my hair crawl already and now I have to go on another one. I should've stayed at home with Ms.Bushida. )

Gabi didn't say anything but he was on high alert in this situation, his gut was screaming to run away but his brain didn't bother to listen. Gabi wanted this to end so he wouldn't have to deal with this again. Yu stepped aside and followed Gabi inside his room, Gabi walked to his bed to sit on the edge to face his classmate who was eagerly wanting to have a chat with him.

"Since it's almost night time I'm assuming you want to discuss something serious, Yu '' Gabi dares to spark up the conversation despite feeling an uneasy feeling in his stomach. In Gabi's rule book is to never look weak in front of someone, he will always have his poker face on.

Yu stood up straight facing Gabi " How long?" He let out the question he wanted to ask Gabimaru for a week.

Gabi tilted his head trying to play the part of a confused person but he knew deep down what that question was meant for.

(How did he find out?)

Yu let out a bitter chuckle, " You can fool everyone else with your tricks but not me. How long have you two been involved with each other and what's your relationship with her?" Yu's eyes went dark as he clenched his fist tightly to the point he was feeling blood seeping out of his skin.

( He seems different. Is this Yu's real personality? Was his jolly self just a mask to hide this side of him? The saying is true when you take a man's mask off you'll see his true self.)

" I simply don't have any clue what you're talking about. Who am I involved wit…?" Before Gabi could even finish his bullshit answer, Yu went straight to the point and not wanting to hear the lies spilling out of the white-haired boy who was sitting right there.

" You and Makima. I saw you two last week making out in Aokigahara forest." Yu blurted out their dirty laundry.

( It's not my proudest moment I must say but for some reason, Makima wanted to train in a forest where people kill themselves. she claims it's calming for her but I don't know how seeing people hang themselves on tree branches can calm anyone. That's one of her weird kinks I will never understand about that girl. Wait a minute! Did he follow us there? And how long was he watching us? How on earth did Makima and I never notice? Was it that we were too addicted to each other to even sense that someone was watching us?)

Gabi still managed to stay in a relaxed manner to make sure he didn't show any reactions to his statement, " Are you sure that what you saw was accurate? Because from my recollection, we did go there to train in peace but we never kissed. I don't have any romantic feelings for her and we both know Makima is a robot who doesn't understand any human emotions so how on earth can both of us be involved? From your angle when you were spying on us might make it seems like we were kissing but in all truth, she was on top of me after she kicked my ass in a one-on-one fight." Gabi lied through his teeth and he kept going once he saw Yu were starting to doubt his self.

"Anyways, why were you following us?" Gabi took this chance to question the boy.

Yu spun and started to shiver when the spotlight was on him and began to panic," I …wasn't and don't try to get out of this Gabi and play mind games. I saw you two together and I know what I saw."

Gabi sighs at him, " Let's just say hypothetically me and Makima are dating. What does that have to do with you? " Gabi started to get somewhat aggressive in his questioning since gaslighting didn't work out for him.

" Because I don't want her to get hurt," He replied back but it wasn't his honest answer and Gabi knew it. He wanted Yu to speak his true feelings and not hide behind the facade he was showing.

" Get hurt? How? Makima has no such thing that is called feelings. All she cares about is strength and power so how will I ever hurt her? … is it really that or is it really because she chose to be closer than me rather than you" Gabi hit where it hurt and Yu shot a glare at the white-haired freak.

" So you're admitting that you two are really involved," Yu replied and this time you could hear the venom that laced in his tone.

Gabi shook his head, " Not at all I just said it was hypothetically. Why are you so pressed about it, Yu? Where is the cheery boy we all know?"

" How can I be happy knowing the only person I love is with someone else? All I wanted was for Makima to look at me as someone who can be next to her and not as a nuisance but she just couldn't keep her eyes off you ever since you got here. At first, I thought she disliked you or even hated you but when I really look into her eyes all I can see is how a person who cares for someone else will look. Why couldn't she look at me like that? Why couldn't she see that I was always here for her? Why does it have to be a low-life like you to gain her attention." As Yu spoke his hidden feelings he kept buried away somewhat his voice elevated. One thing about when people are in a rage they will always speak their hidden truth and when Yu spoke his true feelings Gabi finally understood that in Yu's perspective, he was only acting as a friendly caring person to Gabi even though he disliked him along with most of the other sorcerers and the higher-ups.

" Well I'm glad we let out the air but I'm sorry to say that your being insecure is a waste of time because Makima and I are just friends." After all that happened Gabi still went with this route although Yu knew he was being dishonest.

It was pointless to keep going back and forth because Gabi will not surrender and spill the beans so Yu just sucked his teeth and went to the entrance of the room, "One day you will be in my shoes to watch the person your love turn their backs on you." He muttered but he was still audible for Gabi could hear him, he left without looking back at Gabi.

When Yu was out of Gabi's sight the white-haired boy let out a sigh, " Now I have to watch out for Geto and Yu. When can I catch a break?" He whispered to himself.

( I need to let Makima know.)

Gabi didn't want to exit from the entrance of the male dorm room building because someone might catch him, so the troublesome boy went out his window to head to Makima. As he got on the ground he let out one of his curses to come out.

( I know this is risky but I will have to use most of my curse energy to make sure they don't get detected. Come out Erebus.)

Erebus is a cursed spirit Gabi found on a solo mission and it's one of the prize possessions he uses since he doesn't have access to his special grade ones. Erebus is strong at night and can lurk in shadows without being seen which is something Gabi needs right now, the boy places half of his curse energy into Erebus and the curse surveillance the the area where Gabi is located. Once Erebus was notified the close was clear Gabi dashed to the opposite side of the campus to reach his destination and when he did he dismissed Erebus immediately and gave Makima window five knocks to let her know it was him. The blinds that are blocking the view from inside the room suddenly open revealing the red-haired girl that Gabi was dying to see. She quickly lifted the blinds and opened the window so Gabi could enter and when he did he noticed the girl was freshly out of the shower since her hair was wrapped in a towel her body was covered by a robe instant he covered his eyes to respect her and the girl let out a small giggle at his actions.

She went to her bed unwrapped her hair and started to dry it with the towel, " What brings you here this late? Do you perhaps miss me?" A smirk glued to her face amused to see the mouth boy quiet as a mouse as he still covered his eyes.

( Tch, I can tell she's holding in her laughter.)

"It's no time for you right now, Yu knows about us he saw us…. Kissing in the forest." Gabi spoke with chest in the beginning but as he was talking his voice had gotten low.

" What did you say to him ?" 

" Nothing, I just denied it and was making it seem like he was crazy but it didn't change anything. He knows"

" So... Why are you so anxious? you need to relax." she smoothly said.

( I need to relax?! Isn't she the one who doesn't want people to know about us and she wants me to relax? I swear she's something else.)

Gabi removed his hands from his eyes so he could face the girl, " Why are you so chill about this? " He questioned the girl about her actions.

Makima grabbed the brush from her nightstand and started to brush her red luscious hair enjoying the view and seeing Gabi in panic mode, " Because he won't say anything to put us he knows if he does I will never forgive him so why would I worry about something that won't happen." She was unbothered and continued to brush her hair as she maintained eye contact with her lover.

( How can she be so sure? )

" If you say so, how do you know for sure Makima? He might.."

" He won't. He declared his undying love to me for a long time and since he will be scared of me hating him he will do anything to stay in my good graces."

Creases appeared on his forehead, "So you knew about his feelings this whole time?"Makima giggled at his expression. " Yes, I know but I can't reciprocate it back to him because someone else has my attention and he's right here standing in front of me worrying about another boy instead of his girlfriend ." She put down the brush on her nightstand and stared into Gabi's eyes with her alluring eyes.

( She always has a way with words.)

" You have a point." Gabi was defeated and just let the conversation end.

" I always do," Her ego was boosting up. " Don't tell me you came all this way to just say that Gabimaru and I thought you must have missed me just as much have I miss you." The couple had been dating for a while and Gabi had seen sides of Makima that nobody had ever seen before and he still couldn't get used to it but he did enjoy exploring every feature of her.

" I do …" He mumbled, " I should go it's late. " Gabi tried to exit her room but Makima grabbed his wrist before he left out the window, " Stay for the night since it's late already. "Gabi's face suddenly felt hot when he heard Makima say that, he slowly turned his head to meet the eyes that belonged to the owner of the hand, " Are you sure Makima?"

She didn't answer his question at all, her eyes swirling with an indescribable emotion, " I had read somewhere that a couple can be closer if they are intimate with each other, " She stood up from the bed and wrapped her arms around his neck, " I want to feel closer to you, I want to be as one." She whispered against his lips as her eyes intensely stared him down.

" Do you really want to do this?" He questioned her.

Makiam attached her lips to his to satisfy her taste buds. She had been craving him all day and she took the chance to end her hunger. Makima detached from him and looked back into his eyes. "Did that answer your question?" She licked her bottom lip and went back in again for round 2 and this time Gabi placed his hands on her waist to kiss her back just as rough as her.

As they both were fighting over dominance to take over Makima started to strip away the fabricated that was covering his body. When Makima was successfully unbuttoning his button-up shirt Gabi broke away and untied her robe to reveal her sinful body.

( HOLY SHIT)

Makima's body was exposed and Gabi couldn't take his eyes off it, Makima placed her index finger under his chin and raised his head up to face her, "It's not gentlemanly like to have the girl naked while you are still clothed." She smirked at his dumbfounded look as she slid the robe off her shoulders and sat on the bed waiting for Gabi to do the same and he did as the obedient dog he is. Gabi dropped his pants on the ground quickly got on top of Makima and continued their make-out session as they both felt each other bodies. They were in their world not caring about time because in their minds they had all the time in the world to cherish this moment. The two of them forgot that their relationship was forbidden and were drawn together and didn't want to let go. The red-haired weird girl captured his heart and sealed it away because he wouldn't rather be with someone else. Makima completely took over Gabi's monotonous life and he didn't have any regrets. This night is something both of them will never forget because it changes everything.
