A Guilty Declaration

She recognized it to be the voice of the boy who annoyed Isaac a few weeks back, third brother, was it? He looked identical to the one Nyx was with that she nearly did a double take.

Before any of them could make it up fully, they heard another shout from Rosalyn. "It's gone!" The Duke slowly made his way up with them as the third brother broke down the door, looking around. Instead of villains, this should be a family of world class actors.

"What happened?" He asked, looking at the tear stained girl crawling around on the floor. "It's gone!" She repeated, the short blonde girl had tried to console her, but to no avail as the boy walked over.

"The bracelet I was wearing, the one brother Nyx gifted to me as a gift!" She hiccuped, wiping her tear away as Isaac lifted his free hand, wind magic coming forth.

Anything that was small in the room moved with a small gust of wind filled the room, but no bracelet was heard clanging or seen. "It's not here," he stated, heading over to the railing. "It would take too long to search the entire room, sixth brother Nyx could get you another."

Turning to him she hiccuped, "No… He got it for me for my birthday! How am I supposed to tell him I lost it?" She asked, being helped onto the couch in the back of the room, their third brother wiping their tears.

"Older sister, little brother is right. I'm sure brother Nyx would understand, this is beyond your control. I believe he would only wish for your safety after this traumatic incident." The older girl said, slightly loud enough for people downstairs to hear.

She got it now, part two involved this act, and to make Rosalyn a victim. She still was unsure their reasonings, but villains will always be villains. Taking control, it was the younger boy communicating to Isaac from earlier.

"If I may ask, what did the bracelet look like? I'll search the venue for older sister once the guests leave." His tone was equally as loud, they wanted people to eavesdrop and know the story they were painting.

The girl with short blonde hair stayed silent for awhile earlier, but also piped up. "I'd like to help Lady Rosalyn, too!" It was quite humorous, she didn't even notice the way the siblings looked at her, as if a predator looking at prey, smiling down at it. Not out of happiness, but as if they were playing with their food type of gaze.

Placing her hand on the blonde girl's, Rosalyn thanked her, and turned to the boy. "It had a pink topaz in the middle, with silver and gold, it resembles this necklace." She flashed him.

"Huh?" He muttered, but questioned her. "I didn't know you were matching with Lady Loritz." He said, she looked confused while the blonde girl rubbed her back.

It looked like he saw something click, "Lady Loritz when taken away was wearing a silver bracelet with a pink gem." She could hear the gasps from downstairs, people obviously interested in this. She could hear even more rumours spreading.

When she saw him move, he must of given it to the girl somehow, she didn't think he'd go for the wrist, if he placed it in her sleeve though, perhaps he could get away with saying she hid it after being caught. Not only that, but they must have planted people to spread rumours.

Some still say Count Loritz's wife was having an affair, others claimed that the Loritz family were in debt, and others stated they were merely fools who caused a scene for nothing.

It was then she realized the Duke was missing, already downstairs making his way out. "I believe it is clear that the culprit were the Loritz for both crimes. Anyone else who dares to start a fight within this estate will be beheaded immediately. This is your warning."

While the public couldn't see the kids in the room, they nodded to one another, leaving the Myron girl and Rosalyn together. Clapping, the third boy called the attention of the people. "While Duke Argyris is dealing with private matters, as the next oldest child in attendance, I will officially conclude tonight's party."

"I do hope no one spreads rumors, and I also wish everyone attending a pleasant evening." Clapping his hands, the staff begun to clean up, the knights on guard and high alert finally allowing people to pass.

Once the room cleared, the siblings stopped pretending to like each other. "Did second brother do it?" Isaac asked, the third nodded. "Everyone's been marked, he made his rounds." He replied, the girl now speaking up.

"I'll go to the infirmary to fetch him now that it's over. He said he did not want to stay there longer than needed." With that, she left, followed by the other boy.

Soon Isaac followed, "I don't care what you do, just prepare for the hunt." He said, only for a laugh from the third brother.

She still couldn't figure out a motive after things were settled, but the hunt likely played a big part. Pinching her cheek as they left, Isaac stared at her. "You are far too well behaved for a baby." He muttered, completely right.

Maybe she should of cried for a bit? "Bubu!" She only replied, smiling and acting like she didn't get anything he said. Shaking his head, Isaac seemed to believe it as he walked down a long hall, out to the place with the wide field.

"Isaac." Nyx called out, already sitting by the water. Taking a seat next to him, he sighed and placed her in his lap while listening to what he had to say.

Grinning, Nyx sounded proud. "Yer really going to hell. Ya got nothin' to fear, yer gonna win the hunt regardless of yer eye. Everything's in place, just lay low and practice ya swordsmanship until we get to the capital. Only then does the annoyin' part begin."
