Chapter 92

"I wish it was her and Stephanie was my daughter," Lester said, looking into space.

He had never thought that he would grow accustomed to any child ever since the incident with his mother. He had always avoided them and even made it a priority to never let them come near him.

Surprisingly when it comes to Stephanie, it was an entirely different case. He was so relaxed around her and he wished to never part with the little girl.

When his grandfather asked if he might have had something with Mona before, he knew it was impossible because he had no recollection of it. But after some thought, he was tempted to find out more.

What if he had met her during those three months he had forgotten? That was his thought until Gerald spilled out everything. Could it be Mona? Did she get pregnant for him?

He just has to wait patiently for Gerald's investigation so he could be sure. Just the thought of having Stephanie as his daughter lightened his mood.
