Roy earned millions of gold coins from the items he auctioned. Thus, he was quite happy. That could be discerned from the smile on his face. His total wealth has increased to 8 million after paying the taxes and the cut to the auction house. 


He stepped out of the Jade Branch, closely followed by two half-elves that refused to speak. Maya and Aydin hadn't said a word to him since they met face to face.


Maybe they were too shocked to realize that they had become his slaves, or maybe they were wary of him, but they used their silence to deter him from talking to them.


Actually, they didn't know what motives he had behind purchasing them and thus, were suspicious and afraid of him. This resulted in them wanting to gauge his intention before opening up to him.


Roy didn't put pressure on them, as he believed they needed some time to come to terms with reality.


"You already have a capable maid by your side. Why did you get these slaves for?"
