Although I guess I betrayed Lavinia's trust by lying to her face. There was no way that I was gonna drop the sword even though the perceived danger was quite high. The more that the sword flared up in my hand, the more I desired to hold it in my hand. And eventually, the sword stopped glowing up like it did and it settled down. I could actually flow my mana in it quite normally.
"You did it!" Lavinia mumbled as she saw that happening. I guess this is what happens when you hold your compatible weapon in your hand.
And hearing that from her made me quite happy. I mean, I finally did it. I was able to overcome the adversity with just my sheer determination. I was so happy to the point that I wasn't able to realize that I was about to just straight up fall over to the ground.
