"Well, this is awkward." I spoke as I stepped into the mansion.

Now, why did I say that, you ask? Well, here's the thing. Usually when you attend any sort of ceremony, there's someone out there announcing your arrival. However, there wasn't someone like that introducing us here. Look, I'm not that self centered that I want everyone to know that I have arrived or anything, but the thing here is that what I talked about is a tradition in this society and for Marquis Cheadle to break it just like that is something else.

"Maybe they're trying something new with it? Like, breaking the boundaries constructed by societies or something?" Lav shrugged as she asked.

"I mean, it would be nice if that was the case, but then again, look…" I spoke as I pointed towards the announcer announcing some random ass Baron's name. "This one was deliberate." I mumbled.

"Assholes…" Lavinia couldn't hold her anger inside at that point.
