A mistake?

"What about today? How about we restart the magic training today?" I asked.

"Whoa, just give it a day or two will ya? I mean, it's not that easy to return to the state that you were previously in." Jerome shrugged as he spoke.

"What do you mean? I have successfully manage to return to the state that I was seen before I began the journey." I claimed.

However, it seemed as if Jerome didn't believe what I had to say. I mean, I guess I could understand what's going through his head at this point, so it's not like I could blame him for that.

"Okay… I get what you are saying, but that's not how it works. Don't get false hope, you know?" Jerome spoke.

"No, it's not false hope. I legitimately believe that I have managed to return to that state. I mean, I tried training a bit… you know, all the basics and all. But the more that I trained, the more I realised that I was getting hold of the feeling… Or sensation, as you would say." I replied.
