"Hehe." I couldn't help but chuckle at that point. I mean, not once up until that moment had I believed in Raeen once that he would be doing the things that he is doing right now. And yet here we are. He has truly ended up surprising not just Lav, but me as well.
"A magic swordsman! A fucking magic swordsman!" Lav couldn't hide her excitement at that point. After all, this was the birth of a special existence. And we were the select number of people who get to witness it.
"I told you… I told you that he is something special." I spoke. I kinda felt guilty at that point, you know? Had I wholeheartedly trusted him, I could've been a bit more genuine at this point. However, now it feels like I'm just spewing a bunch of nonsense.
"Yea, you did tell me. And I didn't trust you then. Oh, how wrong was I about all of it!" She cried, which made me feel even more guilty.
"So, what are we supposed to do now?" I asked.
