"Umm…" I'm not even kidding when I say this, but I was well and truly nervous at that point. I mean, the sheer pressure that Myghell gave out was way too much than I imagined.
"You really thought that I didn't know, huh?" He asked, with the same amount of intensity.
"I mean, not really." I shrugged as I spoke. Like, I expected him to know at some point because there's no way that Duke Myghell would let his precious daughter that he cherishes so much to the outside all alone. But it's not like I expected him to confront me about it like this. I mean, if he wanted to, he could've done that much earlier, you know? So, why now?
And the answer to my question was answer pretty soon enough with a sigh from his part. "I'm not here for picking a fight with you or anything, so calm down now." He mumbled and only then did I truly calmed down.
"I see. So, what's going on?" I asked him, trying my best to do small talk with him.
