Miscasted

I faintly remember Maurice talking to me about his parents. Or maybe it's just me hallucinating about such a scenario… But I kinda wanted to hear from Raeen about it. I mean, maybe I'm wrong and his parents are still alive and all. And if that is the case… Wait, nah… I'm pretty sure that my talk with Maurice happened and he told me that the fact that he wanted to learn martial arts was precisely because of the death of his parents, which would mean that I'm being insensitive by asking such a question to him.

"My parents, huh… I guess they're somewhere in heaven. Well, at least my pops would be over there. Mum… I guess not." He mumbled.

I kinda do wanted to ask why he thought the way he did, but then again, I knew for a fact that it would trigger unpleasant memories in his mind, so I shut down those conversations as soon as possible.
