I'm Misa. A hardcore otaku for the otome isekai genre who was living life inconspicuously as a normal office worker. Everything was in the drains and life sucked in general, but I still had my novels and mangas to delve into, so I was having a great time—that is until I died of an unfortunate truck accident.
Then I got to live the greatest dream that every isekai reader ever has. I got transmigrates into the world of novel that I used to read. Except, it seems like God made a slight error while assigning my role to me. I have now woken up in a man's body and now I've got to deal with all the consequences that comes along with it!

Miscasted

"So, you're telling me that the reason why you're not the Grand Mage now is me?" I asked.

"Well, not necessarily. I mean, it's more of a conscious decision that I made. Your situation just happened to be the catalyst. It made me wonder why I should even listen to the Emperor who had already been turning to the dark side. It was also the point that I decided that I'll be part of the moment when the Emperor gets usurped. But you never wanted to be the Emperor, so that didn't work out initially." Jerome shrugged as he spoke.

"Yea… By the way, what happened then? You teleported me to the palace and then?" I asked.

"I just don't think that this is the right time to talk about it." Jerome spoke as he looked at Myghell patiently listening to everything that was being told.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hear what you guys were talking about. I just happened to have really good hearing." Myghell shrugged as he spoke.

The reason
