Immunity

The helmis whimpered, embarrassed at being caught snooping. The plants above their heads swayed playfully as they witnessed the scene.

(Sorry), the one on the left apologized, ducking her head.

(We didn't mean to eavesdrop, we just wanted to play), admitted the one on the right. 

If the others were present, they would only hear whimpers and growls.

(It was their idea), the one in the middle, on the other hand, got rid of all blame without hesitation.

The other two helmis narrowed their eyes and growled under their breath. In response, the middle one closed its snout and went back into hiding on the other side of the bush. 

Unlike their imposing appearance, helmis were obedient in nature and very true to their instincts.
