Resentment

Itziar looked at her new "title" and then at the warriors who were silently watching her as if she were a freak.

"There's something I don't understand…" Ravin came closer, wiping away the water that dripped from her face with her hands. "If you could do this," she said, pointing to the ceiling. "Why didn't you do it sooner?"

Risna, who was in the same condition as her sister, relaxed her arms and looked at Itziar with the same doubt reflected on her face.

Itziar was speechless for a few seconds.

"Because I forgot," she muttered sheepishly.

The twins blinked a few times and sighed in resignation.

Ravin patted Itziar on the head as if she were a child, then turned to organize the warriors before continuing on their journey.

The roar of lightning pierced the walls made of branches accompanied by the howling of the wind and the creaking of wood that echoed through the tunnel.
