Although Itziar could understand and communicate with the beasts, she was still part of the race that they despised so much.

It was inconceivable that these enormously arrogant creatures would put aside their pride to bow down to a human.

One could make excuses with beasts like the beorn, the helmi, or the aellas.

Being creatures raised by humans and under the subordination of a master, their treatment was more open and tolerant than wild beasts, but this did not rule out that, apart from their master, the beasts would not bow down to anyone except someone superior in power.

And that superior someone must be another beast.

However, Itziar was evidently a human. She ate, drank, slept, and felt complex emotions just like anyone else.

Except for her origin, identity, and powers, there was nothing out of the ordinary.
