The Spy Named Marla

After the class, Jody immediately stood up and left the room. Trina followed Jody, who was shocked to see the girl. She ignored her and continued walking. It's almost 4 pm, and she and Zev are about to meet at Mrs. Santiago's office for detention.

"Jody, are you mad at me?" Trina suddenly asked.

Jody turned to her. "Huh? Not really."

"No? But you seem to be mad at me. You've been thinking of me lately. Did I do something to offend you?"

Jody suddenly felt guilty. "You haven't done anything. Maybe I just haven't been feeling well lately. You know, my stomach always hurts at night," she lied.

Trina didn't say anything, and she knew Jody was lying. She is not numb to not feeling it.

"You can tell me you don't like me, Jody," Trina said.

Jody stopped walking, and only then did she notice that Trina had stopped walking, so she turned to the girl standing in the distance while looking at her.
