The Guilt Feeling of Jody

Jody awakens without Zev at her side. She covered herself in a blanket since she didn't like wearing pajamas. Jody glanced at the couch and saw Zev reading the book Brian had given her. Her eyes widened as she recalled pinning the agreement letter with Rydel there. She rose swiftly and approached Zev.

Zev gazed at her, and the guy looked back. Perhaps he was taken aback by what she did.

"I'm only borrowing your book..." Zev explained.

Jody remained silent. She searched for the piece of paper she had tucked within the book.

"Are you searching for something?" Zev asked once again. "First and foremost, get dressed."

Zev straightened up and exhaled deeply when Jody ignored her. "I'm leaving so you can get dressed."

Zev didn't wait for Jody to say anything. He felt pain at the time, but he didn't exaggerate. He was waiting for Jody to stop him or even speak, but she didn't, so he exited the room.
