The City Meets Rivendell

Jody kept looking over at the two men she was having brunch with. Since they were late getting to the city and no one had brought them breakfast, she brought them lunch. Even though Jack was excited to try the city food, he didn't say anything when they started eating.

"What's wrong with you? Doesn't the food taste good? "Jody said to them. "I should have gotten chicken..."

"Love, the food is good. Zev said, "I'm just thinking about something."

"Me, too," Jack replied.

Jody raised an eyebrow and told them they were wrong.

"What are you thinking then?" asked Jody.

Jack and Zev gave Jody a quick look. "Well..."

Jack said suddenly, "I'm thinking about your friends. I wonder if they are as hard-headed as you are."

Zev laughed at what Jack said, which made Jody raise an eyebrow.

"Well, I'm still the nicest of all of them," Jody said with a smile. "I think you'll give up on them," he said.
