Teen trouble

Vera found Feliks in the restaurant. He had nothing much to do, so he spent most of his time there, drinking and thinking.

«So? Was it Fiona?» he asked first thing when the two detectives appeared in front of him. He couldn't believe the daughter of his right-hand man could do something as evil as calling supernatural detectives to catch them all.

He remembered Fiona as a cute, sweet child. And she hadn't lost that sweetness while growing up. He also was quite sure there were teens who wouldn't let anyone bully her.

What reason could she have to sell them off?

«I'm not sure if things are as bad as they look,» Vera said, «but Fiona is innocent. Regarding the reason for the notice, we might have it wrong. Maybe, they're not trying to imprison the whole village. Maybe, the goal is different.»

«Goal?» Neven murmured, surprised. What was she talking about, now?
