Feeling tired?

As expected, Klara called her son the day after. She got her call through because Neven and Vera hadn't boarded the plane yet.

«Hello?» Neven said, pretending not to be fuming in anger. Vera was next to him, and she would have glared and scolded him for the whole flight if he was impolite with his mother. It was touching, truly. It made him want to hug her, shower her face with kisses and tell her she was too good for this world. But he also knew she wouldn't have believed him, so he kept his urges in check and decided to act as if her care towards his parents didn't touch him one bit.

«How are you doing?» Klara asked on the phone.

«Not well. I'm tired and didn't sleep well,» he said.

His words caused a stronger reaction to Vera than his own mother. Klara knew that being tired was not actually a thing for dragons. It took them very, very much to be tired, unfortunately for the humans surrounding them.
