Surprise visit (2)

Vera was working in her office. Working was a bit of an overstatement, but Florian had explained that it was normal to have moments when one had less to do. And he had also hinted that most employees would be happy and enjoy those moments, pretending to be full of work even when it was not true.

He had said that normal workers liked to relax, so she was trying to be normal. During the breaks from being normal, she would learn more about the system and how it worked.

There were a lot of technical details she couldn't understand, but she got the general meaning of most of the explanations.

Change passwords, don't write them down, and don't let anyone find out. That was what she needed to know. The rest were just technicalities.
