After finding out the name of their primary suspect, their minds returned to the case. The issue with the Azhdaya fell into the second row of problems, those they couldn't solve at that moment even if they wanted to.

In the end, Yavan wasn't there. He had left the village, and maybe even the country, while the summoners and the Inquisition were both alive and kicking.

«Is there any chance they start fighting with the killers now?» Neven wondered as if reading Vera's mind.

«I'm not sure, boss. They're moving, though,» Florian replied.

«We have to stop them. Both of them,» Vera said. It had to be done for the poor village dwellers. They deserved to live in peace and comfort, not in the middle of a battle between witches and witch hunters. Not to mention how she hated the thought of other people dying, no matter the reason.

«The summoning is over. Will the detective from the agency retreat?»
