“His charming smile can melt the ice.”

The breeze was exceptionally warm and the sun beamed gently into the car. Alan quivered as too many scents wafted his nose but none was from his mate.

He only wanted to smell his mate's scent, drinking in her smell against the calming breeze but unfortunately, he couldn't. Turning to steal a glance at her, he noticed how she seemed to be enjoying their ride other than the first time they both were in his car.

Her relaxed demeanor further radiated her lovely smile, stealing Alan's heart once more.

"You said it was just around the area. We have been driving for more than twenty minutes," Eleanor asked, her smile not leaving her face.

His laughter filled the car and she wondered if she had said anything stupid.
