Alan laughed and returned to his office, feeling content. He knew, just as he had warned Stephen, that the young man would never approach his mate.

After dialing a few numbers, he requested that the cleaners come and clean Eleanor's room. He made certain to contact a werewolf who would not question the mystery.

He was so full of contentment that, while he couldn't go around telling everyone he and Eleanor were together, he at least told someone while he warned him.

It would only be a matter of time before all the werewolves found out, and word would spread to all pack members, particularly the elders.

He should've thought about this at first. The elders would no longer suspect him of lying about finding his mate. He didn't mind.

He was not going to make Catherine his mate. He didn't think that when they were together, and he wasn't going to think that now that he had found his mate.
