“Was the white ‘dog’ Alan?”

"Eleanor, close your eyes and don't open them under any circumstances. Make that promise to me. Please! I love you," Alan had told her as he touched her shoulders.

His eyes lowered down at her in concern, and he hoped she would close herself like he had begged her to.

He didn't want to transform into a wolf in front of her. Scott was not interested in that either.

But, as he could see in their eyes, the werewolves with their teeth in front of them had come with a plan. He and his wolf felt threatened, and they were also on the verge of shifting.

'Was he going to fight these dogs? What if they bit him? The dogs were only staring at us, why was Alan going to fight them?' Alan could read those thoughts racing in Eleanor's head.

Any other person would have laughed and teased him for such a childish decision. But Eleanor didn't do that, she only stared at him with concern and wondered if he was going nuts.
