“Do you also know?”

"Scarlet. Do you remember Scarlet?" The man shook his head slowly, almost feeling guilty.

 

"I'm sorry, my dear. I- I don't remember who Scarlet is," her father answered regardless.

 

"That's my little sister. She is your second child. She was around seven when you died- when you disappeared. I have to call her. She'd be so happy." Again, she kept rumbling and the man watched her closely.

 

"Sweetheart, please calm down. I'm happy your dad is alive." Alan gave her a warm smile and she smiled back. Nothing could replace this moment for her. She was more than excited. Not even her wedding day made her this much happy.

 

Guilt-

 

An unexplainable guilt washed over her. Her father had been here for a year and still counting. If she had come to visit Jill in the pack house like she had asked her to, she would've seen her dad.
