Angrier than before

Daniel burst into the pack house, his face alight with excitement. "I learned Alan's back! Where the hell is he?" he yelled, eagerly scanning the room.

But when he saw Alan's face, his expression fell.

Something was off about his elder brother, and it was clear that Alan was not as happy to be back as they were to see him.

He didn't even look back at Daniel.

He just left the library and climbed the stairs.

"He's not the Alan we all know. He has lost his wolf," Simon mentioned and Daniel received the message with a frown.

His happy face was now turning into a deep frown.

"Whatever he went through, they had changed him. He didn't care about anyone and didn't even want anyone around him. Not even James," Jackson added.

James was on his way to the workplace.

He was going for the laptop Alan had screamed at them about. Eleanor was still speechless, trying to figure out what was going on with her husband.
