"You're making a mistake, Alan," she told him, her voice sounding firm.
"Eleanor loves you. She's always been loyal to you. And you're just throwing her away like she's nothing." Was he blaming her for what happened to him? Alan's eyes blazed with anger.
"Don't you dare lecture me about loyalty," he spat.
"I know what it means to be loyal. And Eleanor has proven that she's not capable of that." Lolly felt a surge of anger.
"That's not true, Alan," she yelled, what was wrong with him?
"You're just being paranoid. You've been gone for so long, you don't even know what's been happening here. But I do.
And I know that Eleanor has been working her ass off for this company.
And if you can't see that, then you're not the Alan we all know." Alan's expression dropped slightly, and for a moment, Lolly thought she had gotten through to him.
But then his face hardened again. "I don't have time for this," he screamed, his voice cold.
