All hell let loose

It takes note of two men guarding the front gate wearing black armor adorned with golden insignias depicting a sword crossed over a shield. One male soldier appears older compared to the younger female counterpart. Both appear vigilant keeping a sharp eye on everything happening around them including passersby moving down the streets.

Moving closer, the shadow observes the soldiers' movements noting slight differences in posture, stance, and breathing patterns among others. Finally deciding on whom to approach first, it steps forth boldly approaching the elder male.

Without warning, it attacks violently, striking the side of his neck and causing him to fall backward hitting his head against the stone floor. Blood gushes out covering most parts of his uniform while a woman screams drawing attention from everyone within earshot.
