Adelaide was still past asleep when she saw him. But he wasn't quite just a dream, he was real. When her eyes shut oped, she saw him standing or floating opposite her, and she instantly jumped down the bed to fall into a bow.

"Your majesty," she was now on the floor, not looking at him. It was not the first time she'd seen him before, but she still felt like it was yesterday.

"Seventeen human years have past and you have not seem to age a bit," Xerxes commanded.

"Oh your majesty, don't flatter me please." She smiled, heads still bowing down.

"I see what you have done with the goddess," he said, and watched her send her thoughts to her most recent achievement.

"The goddess?" She asked.

"Yes. The goddess," replied the supreme god.

"Oh your majesty, I was only following your orders. I am glad I could please you, sire."

"Indeed, you have done well. And for the greater good as I have promised, you shall have your reward soon."
