On the most important day of her life, the day when she was supposed to shine the brightest, the day she was supposed to say 'I do', he bailed out.
Ennui, despair, forlornness, despondency, distress, pain....name it all, it couldn't amount to what she felt that day. 

The moment the flower fell from her hand...she realized what was happening. He left her on the altar on their wedding day. All eyes were on her, most were the mocking gazes of females who hated her.

One year passed. She was fine now, but she had done some thinking.

Was all this happening because it was her punishment? Maybe the heavens were punishing her for what she did to all her previous boyfriends.

That was when she decided....

From the very first one she has wronged, she was going to apologize to all of them, meet a new guy, and start afresh.

Dionne shrilling yell woke Lucas up from his sleep. He winced and slightly opened his eyes to see Dionne wrapping her hands around her body and a ghostly shock adorned her face.

"Why are you yelling," His deep morning voice that sounded like a lot of mucus was stuck in his throat, asked.

"What did you do to me?" Dionne asked in a whisper.

When she woke up, she felt her firm hands wrapped around her waist and her head on a hard surface.
