Chapter 28

The Fire Nation: the Capital.

Above the main palace, a hawk was flapping its wing. Soon, he descended and landed on the arm of an old-looking man. Examining the seal and the stamp on the letter, the man narrowed his eyebrows.

"An urgent letter to the Fire Lord, by General Zhao. Must be delivered now."

This was the time of war. Generals and highers ups messages are to deliver to the lord. Even if the ruler was busy, nothing is enough to keep him from the urgent news of the war. The old man didn't even dare to read what was in the letter. He turned and walked to the main hall. On his way, not even the soldiers dared to stop him. He was the only one who is allowed to not ask permission.

He handed the letter to a soldier, a higher-up, who took it and entered the main hall. "So, General Zhao sent a hawk. It must be about that Haru…" he mumbled to himself as he walked in.

The Fire Lord was sitting with candles surrounding him. The fire on them lit up brightly, thanks to the bending power of the lord. Its goal was to give a majestic aura to the Fire Lord. And it was a tradition.

"Your majesty." The higher-up stopped in front of the fire. He bowed his head and extended his hands. "General Zhao sent you an urgent letter."

"I see… so he must have dealt with that rat." The fire lord, Ozai, said. The fire veil that was covering him calmed down, and he took the letter from the higher up.

Ozai had always been interested in the news of the war. Usually, he had been paying attention to Ba Sing Se and the North Pole wars. It was critical to know things and make strategies to win the war.

But in the last days, Haru's existence couldn't be ignored. He had managed to kill 120 men alone above that. He is a very powerful earthbender. They needed to take care of him immediately. He had delivered strong damage to them by killing such an amount.

Ozai opened the letter, ready for the good news from the general.

If the news isn't good, he will punish him.

Ozai started reading the letters.

"Your Majesty. I, General Zhao, happily report to you that we have taken care of Haru. Currently, we are heading to his village to burn it down. May you live long enough."

"Hahahaha!" Ozai laughed. "Good news."

He felt happy that he took care of such a man.

If Zhao reported that he failed, Ozai would have sent his daughter to hunt Haru along with a strong army.

"Now, all we have to do is to wait for the comet, and the world shall be mine." Ozai laughed. The fire on the candles shone brighter and reached the roof.

As some news was spreading in the Fire Nation, a different kind of news spread in the Earth Kingdom. Haru started becoming known as the man who defeated a hundred men and it reached his village.

Tyro, who was practising the metalbending next to the wall, like the rest of the chosen ones, suddenly stopped when Kin, the vice leader of Haru's subordinates came.

"Hey, Tyro!"

"What's going on Kin." Tyro replied with a cold tone.

Although Haru was using these bandits as his subordinates, the other people were worried about them. They hated them for what they had done, and no one is trusting them. But they are just allowed to live here, in the prison rig, as Haru had suggested.

"Have you heard what your son did?"

"What?"

"He became the new prince of Omashu." Kin said. "Moreover, there is the news of him defeating 120 men, on his own."

Tyro blinked twice. "Really?"

"I don't know about Omashu's thing. But we caught the news of a hundred ashes jar getting back to the fire nation. They are putting the blame on the boss."

Tyro had a drop of sweat forming on his forehead. "That kid…"

"Acho!" Haru sneezed.

Rune put her hand on his chest and asked. "Are you okay, honey…"

"Yeah, some dust got in." Haru turned to her and smiled, putting his hand on her face and sweeping her black hair.

Building the wall usually would take a couple of days. But for some good reason, Haru took a whole week staying here.

Rune smiled and gave his lips a kiss. "I'll prepare you some tea… then I will need to awake my kid."

"Sure, sweaty."

Rune tried to stand up. Her legs were shaking as if they were numb. Haru stared at her wide hips and he couldn't resist the urge to slam her butt. It was his way to thank her for this good week.

"Haru… please, I'm quite sensitive." She turned to him with a blush on her cheeks.

"Wanna have another round."

"Later. I'm very full now." She sighed. "With the way we have been banging, I may have your child now."

"True," Haru said casually.

It's not like he wanted to impregnate her. He wasn't sure if she was pregnant.

But in this world, you don't have birth control methods.

And it's easy to say that you will cum outside.

But it's very hard to do in action, especially if you are sleeping with a hottie milf.

Well, there is a high chance that she got pregnant with all of the rounds he would go with her.

If there is a 20% chance to achieve that in one round, then having 10 rounds will raise that chance to a hundred.

Well, one should enjoy it while it lasted.

"So, does this mean that I'm your wife, officially?" Rune smiled.

"Well, not yet." Haru lay on his back. "If they knew we have a relationship, the fire nation will do its best to get you, may be harming you. You don't want that."

Haru didn't want to announce his relationship.

"Then, let's wait for the war to end." She smiled.

"Don't worry, it won't take long," Haru said.

"Please, I don't want to explain to Rong where his little brother came from," Rune said. "Besides, I have very high hope that you can kick the fire nation away."

"Oh, don't worry about that." Haru stood up, walked to her, and kissed her on the lips. He then picked up his clothes, and both of them dressed up, before going down.

Rune prepared breakfast for Haru and his stepson. Rong woke up excited, and while Haru was only drinking tea, the kid and his mom ate their meals.

"So, big brother, are you leaving today," Rong asked suddenly.

"Yes, I stayed for too long," Haru replied with a sigh.

"But why do you have to leave. I like you, mom like you." Such words were spoken by a small kid. Only if he knew what's the last part means.

"It's okay, son," Haru spoke. "I will be back one day. A day where you will be free to walk outside your village, and you won't have to hide whenever you see a troop that belongs to the fire nation."

Rong sounded sad as he lowered his head. His mom looked sadder.

"Anyway, let's go out."

Haru put his hands in his pocket and walked outside. Surrounding the town, there was a large wall. Every citizen was looking at it with awe. It was 7 meters in height, and it was thick.

The people of the town started bowing their heads whenever Haru passed. Seeing their gesture of respect, Haru gave a slight nod.

"Chief, so you are leaving today." Two girls in armour came to Haru.

"Yeah."

"Everyone is curious about what should we do before you come back."

Haru thought for some time, before saying. "Use your earthbending and create farms. Also, dig for water."

This town may get concerned in the future. In that case, food was the essential element in this war.

Although the earthbenders seemed to be unwilling, since earthbenders are usually full of pride to start farming, they nodded. They gave Haru some meaningful glances, which he seemed to ignore.

Haru later that day had a chat with the citizens and the earthbenders.

They seemed to be excited when they will fight against the Fire Nation.

But Haru said he will let them now.

They prayed for the spirit to protect him.

Haru didn't tell them that he doesn't believe in that. Their world was full of myths, such as benders learned bending from animals. While in fact, some turtle lions were the ones to teach humanity bending, which had evolved in wars. Of course, the Air Nomads were an exception, since they didn't develop any lethal bending arts. No wonder they were gone for good.

"Alright, I have to go," Haru said as he went back to his residence, packing up his things. He didn't want to fill his storage to avoid unnecessary questions, and he decided to put his stuff in the inventory later.

Rune entered his room and closed the door behind him. She had her hands behind her on the door, and she looked at Haru.

"You know, I've already got used to you." She sighed. "You will leave an empty space." She put her hand on her stomach as she said that.

Haru turned to her and smiled. "And you will leave something cold." Haru stared at her from head to toe. Surely, it was nice staying here. He had someone to take care of his needs, cook for him, and even warm his bed, which he was grateful for.

"Hey… Rong had gone to the store, wanna a quick round?" she avoided the eye contact and said, blushing.

Haru smiled. "But we won't go all out."

"True, one round seems to be not enough." She said

Haru turned to her. He smiled. During these days, the woman seemed to be addicted to him.

"Well, at least, this will leave you room to heal."

After a quick round, Rune seemed to be satisfied. She hugged Haru as he went to the door. Rong soon came, and Haru patted him on the head.

"Alright. Take care of each other." Haru then said to the kid. "And take care of your mom. If someone went near to her, did as I taught you."

"Oh, you mean kicking on the ground and attacking his groins…"

"And you taught this to a kid?"

"Hey…" Haru smiled wryly, avoiding the stares of Rune. "Don't let her know."

"Sure, I will do it in secret," Rong said.

"That's my boy." Haru stood up. "Alright, take care of yourselves."

Haru then got out, walking in the sea's direction. Rune and Rong watched his back until he vanished.

Haru currently was in the sea.

Since he had conquered the metallic Fire Nation base, Haru made sure to fill his storage with enough compressed iron.

An iron box appeared from thin air, and it fell. The ground shook. Although the box looked small, it was heavy. If Haru decompressed it, it will become 5 times larger or more.

Haru started bending, reshaping the metal until it formed a ship with an engine

It didn't even need a sail.

Haru, using his bending, put the ship on the sea and jumped. It was big enough for him to lay down.

Haru placed a leg above another, put his clothes under his head to lay down, and kicked down. Using his bending, the ship headed to Kyoshi's island at a fast speed. Haru didn't need to make extra moves. Just moving his head now would be enough for him to bend.

"I feel like Ace from One Piece." Haru stared in the sun's direction, knowing that he went in the right direction.

Currently, he had many Affinity and Skill Points. But he had decided to save them until he is done with his training. He may end up becoming a warrior and a bender at the same time, a great warrior above that.

He left dear people and even his dear ride. That pet would surely miss Haru. But he was sure that Rong and Rune will take care of it.

"Kyoshi Warriors, here I come."
