"Are you okay?" Adam asked as the car pulled away from the apartment.

Becca looked at Adam with a smile that seemed forced. She took a deep breath but the sad expression on her face could be seen clearly.

"I'm trying to be okay. But I'm glad I made him so jealous because of you, Adam. Thanks for helping me."

Adam shrugged his shoulders. "Well, anytime. I'm ready when you need me to help you."

"Yeah, like you said yesterday, right?"

There was no more conversation between them. Becca checked her cell phone because she had felt a vibration from her cellphone which she had ignored. She had guessed that Tommy had called her.

"Hmm, Adam, may I ask you something?" Becca asked, looking for a topic of conversation.

"Do you have a girlfriend? I forgot to ask you that and I'm sorry if later your girlfriend finds out about me asking you for help about this."
