It's not your fault

Reign groaned as she opened her eyes slowly. Her fingers immediately flew to the side of her head as it began to ache badly.

"Reign?" She turned to the voice and saw Ares staring at her worriedly. He rushed up to her and grabbed her hand before placing a kiss on her forehead.

"I'm so sorry, my love. I shouldn't have left you alone. I'm so sorry" Reign shook her head.

"It wasn't your fault. How's my mother? What happened? Did the orb get destroyed?" Ares nodded with a smile.

"It did" Reign's eyes brightened and she tried to sit up but Ares held her down.

"You need to rest, Reign. Your head was hit pretty bad" Reign sighed.

"How long have I been here?" Ares pursed his lips.

  "Three days" Reign gasped.

  "Three days?" Ares nodded.

"Reynolds said it was because you hit your head on the same spot you were hit with a hammer last time so both injuries had to heal together" Reign sighed.
