Chapter 3: The Aftermath

Days turn into weeks, which turn into months. At first, it was kind of hard getting used to working, but after a couple of weeks, I got the hang of it.

The area isn't actually that big for technically being a part of New York City, there are nice local shops that sell some of the most amazing food and ingredients. There's a nice river nearby that I can sit by, look up to the stars, and think.

I thought life away from home would be so scary. That I'd have to get ready to slave away for minimum wage, while I try to find enjoyment with the few hours of free time I'd get. But life is better than that, I enjoy living here. Samuel and I are much closer now, though not romantically close. Not that I want to be romantically close to him, but it's not like I hate him or anything.

Anyways, moving on. Life is good, and right now I'm enjoying every second of it.
