Akeelah sucks in a breath again and looks away from the police chart.

The police man notices her being uncomfortable and closes the chart politely without making any further remarks.

Akeelah seems to think a bit before going ahead to say her next words.

"Is there anything I can do to get this settled fast?"

"Is there something you're trying to hide ma'am?" He asks, his voice laced with deep suspicion

They have to get this over with as soon as possible so I can ask the others to clean up and not let it look like anything happened. If by any chance the media gets to know about this incident in my own mansion, it might spell the end for the Rose Group that has been hanging by a thread for a while now.
