CHAPTER 9

After lectures,we both set out to see Mrs Polin,we greeted her and she replied us nicely. Seems she is about making a portal.

Hey Colisto,see what she is doing i excitedly said smiling at Colisto.

Mrs Polin made a circle with white candles of the same height around her and mirrors round her. She laied a dull at the front of the biggest mirror that was to be used to make the portal,she squatted in the middle of which she had used a white chalk to mark X as she called the magic words.

Immediately a bright blue light that got us blind for five minutes shined out of the big circle. The portal opened and began to turn very fast,covering the whole room with smoke. I was surprised same with Colisto. Our portal never gave us such reaction,i kept thinking still trying to catch my sight.

Mrs Polin called out looking straight into the big mirror,immediately the speed at which the portal was turning reduced and the smoke began to give way.

Mrs Polin!! We shouted as we ran to her who was already lying on the floor looking lifeless . Mrs Polin are you alright ?? i asked. She is alright answered Gracious who walked into the room from who knows were putting on an evil smile on her face .

Gracious what is wrong with Mrs Polin?And wait a minute how did you get into the room with the door and windows locked ?I asked waiting to get a direct reply from her even if i knew the answer. Hahaha dear Toria,,you wouldn't understand,it is magic she lied. I acted like i didn't know what was going on. Give me one good reason i shouldn't stab your throat with a knife said Colisto who was already putting on a red eyes with her nails striking out ready for a fight. What have you done to her? Asked Colisto who was approaching Gracious with her fangs pointing out like an angry lioness.

Hey Colisto,Long time. Mrs Polin would be fine stop being annoying replied Gracious. Colisto brought out her fangs ready to strike as i watched the both of dem prepared for their fight. Hey girls,what is going on here?you should be helping me clean up this mess not making challenges. Colisto and Gracious immediately took in their fangs and nails and turned looking at Mrs Polin who was sitting on a chair with a cup of hot coffee smiling and admiring her beautiful colourful portal.

Mrs Polin,Colisto and i ran to give her a hug. Gracious,come on what are you standing there doing?come and give me a hug said Mrs Polin,but Gracious angrily walked out of the room. Girls what's wrong with her asked Mrs Polin who was confused. She almost got into a fight with Colisto,i replied.

But why?asked Mrs Polin

Umm dont you think we should be cleaning up this mess said Colisto. Umm yes girls lets get to work,,replied Mrs Polin. Toria grab the brush,Colisto grab the mop,while i pack up this broken mirrors. We all cleaned up the room and left for home .
