chapter 5: Jack's story

After Mia went upstairs there was an awkward silence followed by a silent cry. Jack is a threat to you, he was an ancient demon, the prophesy says that he can be a threat or of help depending on his true love, Theresa said still sobbing.

He loves Mia, Starr said. Theresa replied", Mia is our only hope. isn't there any goddess of love or something, Emma asked. there was one person....that will be later, something's are not meant to be told before it's given time, Steve answered. But mom, dad what of you guys, Starr asked. Theresa said", Later baby when the time is right and nobody must hear of this we have so many enemies out there including Jack for now.

While getting upstairs I saw a beauty, "my beauty" seated on the bed and staring lovingly at a picture. I was burning with jealousy and curiosity I wanted to see who it was, I moved closer to get a better view and behold it was me I couldn't help but smile. I knocked on the door "what's wrong with my hand", I thought. Hey, I said.

He glanced at me and answered, hi Mia. I was not happy with his response, be quickly turned and shouted MIA!! emm what are you doing here? I mean come in and seat down. You look tensed as if you were caught cheating I said while laughing. His mood turned sour and he shouted", Nooo! I will never even dream of cheating on you please don't say that kind of thing.

I've always hate being shouted at since I was a kid it scares me.... I was just joking, I said with a shaky voice. He seems to have realized and he quickly apologized, I'm sorry for shouting at you sweetheart... my baby looks sad. My mood turned good as he apologized how could I stay angry at him with his ever so cute face", I thought. not really..... I'm happy and lucky to have you in my life, I said to him.

I'm also lucky to have you in my life infact I'm the luckiest man on earth to have found you first, he said so lovingly. I love you, I confessed. He replied, I love you too Mia.

Starr went upstairs to meet Mia

hey sup actually whatever we discussed must be kept a secret from Jack, I said. why, Mia asked. I replied", well mom said it might trigger him mentally as it has been said that his power will be active after he is showered with love from his true love which happens to be you soo for that to happen you must keep it a secret from him and any other person, I said as I quickly cooked up a lie. she answered ok but she was still looking confused. look if you tell him then everything will crumble Jack is an important part of our life this is not his right time to know okay, so it our secret?. okay she answered.

which secret Jack asked popping out of nowhere. emmm SURPRISE!!, Mia said. wow I love surprises, he said looking happy and moved close to Mia and gave her a light peck on the lips. Hmmm so you guys are doing this to me huh.... I'm outa here, I'll leave you love birds alone, I said. Thanks sis, Jack shouted.

I went back downstairs

so how did it go, my mom asked. I replied saying, it was very hard to convince her but I did it and I went ahead and explained everything that happened. we will have to tell her eventually she needs to know, pearl said. I'm sure she's going to ask the rest of us for the real truth that's how she is, Emma said. Don't use your powers for your own selfish needs you only use it when necessary and is for a good reason maintaining it is better than abusing it, my mom said. "okay" we all said.

They all chatted happily and Theresa told them some stories of the past Starr seems to remember some which was weird. they chatted till Mia came down.(clears throat) she's here, Pearl said. huuuu I can perceive something can't you perceive it Mia, Jessica asked. what's that, Mia asked looking confused. love!! we all said and laughed. we will be off now... Emma said, the love bird is back. byeeee, we bid each other.
