Chapter 21: Meeting Kylie
The sitting room was bright due to the penetration of light from the sun. Kylie was overjoyed, it felt like forever since she saw Starr. She has missed her so much.
Mom!! When is jack coming to get me, she said glaring at the door. Don't you think you woke up too early, Theresa replied. It was 4:00am when Kylie stormed into her room claiming that she couldn't sleep.
I just want to see my sister. Theresa sighed,'I know sweetie, why don't you sleep a little. She ran to her dad, No... dad!! Mom wants me to sleep... she wants to force me helppp!!! She said. Steve replied ,You need your beauty sleep you know. "Pfft always supporting mom" she said.
{the doorbell rang}
He is here... she rushed to the door to open it just stopped midway. What's wrong Kylie, asked Theresa. She said: mom I don't feel too good, don't open the door mom, the person out there is emitting a bad energy.
Theresa looks slightly worried "you see this is why sleep is important". More people has joined, she turned and was about to dash to her room but Theresa held her hand "don't ever run away from a problem face it, now be a strong girl" she said and she opened the door.

Do you think they are awake? Asked Mia. I'm sure they are.... let's wait for a while, jack replied.
The rest of Starr's friend came. Mia exclaimed: "Jessica, pearl, Emma I've missed you all, she envelop them in a tight hug"
Hi Jack, Jessica greeted. Hmm hi, he answered lazily. Jessica said: You look different...
Pearl cuts in 'Jessy I think I know what you mean by different' she winked at Mia. Mia rolled her eye, Dave should really teach you a lesson, she said. "Please can you guys stop this... you guys are not children" Emma shrugged her shoulder trying to act mature.
CLK" Mia clicked her tongue, 'see who is talking'. And they all laughed. We should get together sometime, Mia suggested. Like a sleep over? Asked pearl. Mia nodded her head in approval "yeah with Starr". And they all agreed.
What are you guys doing here anyways? Asked Jack. "To train" Jessica answered and she bit her tongue knowing what she had just said. Uhmm for the dance, Emma added almost immediately . Jack said: it's weird how you all just say one word and let the other person complete it, which dance? Something is off.
Everywhere became tensed and jack started laughing seeing as everyone looked tensed. "Just joking, you all look like you've been caught stealing" he said in between his laughter. They all breath a sigh of relief. Mia was about to press the doorbell again but the door flung open and Theresa appeared.
MOM!!! Mia shouted. She hugged Theresa and buried her head on the crook of her neck. This action of hers not only surprised Theresa, it surprised all of them including jack and herself. She quickly pulled away when she realized what she has done.
My child, she Said as she pulled Mia closer. Mia said in between her sobs "I'm sorry". It's okay darling you can always call me mom I don't mind at all, replied Theresa.
Alright ...mom, she said as she wiped the lone tear that appeared at the corner of her eyes.
It was strange but jack could actually feel Mia's pain. His normal eyes color changed to a dark red color until he saw that she was fine his eye color changed to his normal one. His eyes stared into a green eye. She had noticed the change in his eyes and she flinched.
Kylie, come over here' he opened his arms but her actions made him furrow his brows. She stepped back. Theresa gave her a light push and she ran towards jack. Jack who was distracted didn't see her coming. The distraction made him unaware so when Kylie hugged him he lost his balance and fell.
He sniffed her scent and gave a peaceful sigh. He said: "ooh sister".
Where were you all this while, she lashed out at him. "I'm sorry" he held his ears and made puppy eyes. She grabbed his hand: you are forgiven....!common lets go and meet Starr.
Wait little girl, he teased and got a punch in the stomach as a reward. "I told you to stop calling me a little girl, I've passed that age I'm a teen duhh!! She flipped her hair". I'll remember your disrespect.....he paused for a moment "little girl", he said and ran to Theresa and gave her a hug. Mom save me from that little monster!!
Pft you thought I would chase you? I'm too matured for that, she said proudly. Jack replied : wow... that doesn't change anything little girl. She turned red with anger "that does it" and she started chasing him.
They spent an hour discussing on random topics till jack decided to leave. FINALLY!! Kylie said.
Jack gave his mother a kiss and gave his dad a manly hug then they set out to meet Starr.
