“Luke!  Where are your parents?!  They were supposed to be here this morning?!”  I grabbed his arm, pulling him out of the hallway and into a side room.  He flinched as my grip tightened.


“Jeez Izzie! Ow.”  He gave me a pained look, but I could see the smirk trying to tug at his lips.  “There almost here.  Something about my brother’s running late, you know how hard it is for us to do anything on time.  We’re lucky they are gonna make it at all and you know it.”  His nostril’s flared as he tried to keep a straight face.  I narrowed my eyes, releasing my hold on his arm.
